It won't avoid all squabbles over who gets the check every time, but if it's someone close to you, maybe you can do the "I'll get this one, you get it next time" approach. That way, the cost burden is shared and you have at least two meals worked out. TPM Sister #102

I realize that it may be too ambitious at this stage of the development of the discipline, but I'd like to see walkmonauti being practiced while simultaneously chewing gum. It could be synchronized to music if done in groups, with bubble blowing as a freestyle variation. I was training for an attempt at that yesterday, but engaging in walkmonauti and gum chewing simultaneously will probably require the construction of a customized padded sidewalk, and finding investors is a challenge. I have heard that there may be institutions with padded walls that might be used in the training process, but padded rooms would only allow for a walkmonauti simulation and you really need to be able to exit the building to properly engage in walkmonauti. At minimum, I think it is absolutely necessary to have an instructor on hand who is trained in Heimlichmonauti before any such attempts are made. TPM Sister #102

I once dated a guy who wanted to get married but it wasn't the right relationship for that. Almost immediately after we stopped dating, he started dating and then got engaged to a girl named Sheila. We were in a group setting and someone asked him to introduce his fiance. He stood up to introduce Sheila, but looked at me and said, "This is my fiance, Shulie." They then had counseling before they actually got married. TPM Sister #102

Pictures, dammit! We...need...PICTURES!!! How did this thread take this turn--and so fast?! Nobody's asking to see Lawrocket's pics. . . . I mean, really . . . let's be fair! TPM Sister #102

Jenn's a true friend and she's genuine--and I say that without ever having met her in person. (Jenn--pretend you believe it! ) TPM Sister #102

I have a modified freefly suit from Ouragan, which I use exclusively in the tunnel. It's NOT their tunnel suit. It has been fabulous. I hope you have the same great results I did--great design and fit; no changes or alterations required when it came. TPM Sister #102

Oooo. I've never seen Danger Mouse. Sounds exhilarating! (Okay, so I exaggerate--but it DOES have the word "danger" in it!) TPM Sister #102

I don't know what great psychological reasoning explains this, but I knew which one she would like before I read your third sentence. Just seems right. TPM Sister #102

Hmmmm. Does maniacal laughter really count as a sense of humor??? I can't imagine shock therapy being amusing in any sense of the word! TPM Sister #102

In my case, it's every time I battle door fear and win. I don't tell people that I'm a "skydiver," but my standards would be lower for what qualifies you to be one than others might require. I get out the door, I pull, I flare--for the day, that's good enough! In the big picture, when would the label apply on a day-to-day basis? I think somewhere in the AFF to A license range would be appropriate to start calling someone a skydiver, as they're taking the responsibility for themselves and their jump and they've shown more than a passing let's-go-do-a-tandem commitment to it. (Just check the bank account--that at least says something!) On the other hand, I also think there comes a time when people may no longer jump but they've done it long enough or have so many jumps that it defines who they are and the label never really goes away. I think you need to add some fried green tomatoes and sweet tea to that.

No. At best you can know what they want you to know, but not a lot more. Or what they want you to THINK you know. TPM Sister #102

Well, I suppose it's self-explanatory if you have any idea as to how atnomauti is different than tracking--ESPECIALLY after wading through those other threads! Just don't explain. I used to be curious; now I don't want to know. TPM Sister #102

Ironically, one of the advertiser links I got when I pulled up the video was "Panic Attack Disorder." TPM Sister #102

Do you have a phalaenopsis? When I lived in Atlanta, mine would sprout new blossoms even as the old ones were dying. In Colorado, it's a little harder. I have an orchid at my office that gets bright but indirect light, and I mist it a couple of times a week. It blooms repeatedly for me. I have two others at home that don't get the same quality of light and they just won't bloom again. Just be careful with the sun, as you can burn the leaves. TPM Sister #102

Welcome to zoo! Oh, and I vote for sweet tea with a sprig of mint and enough sugar to make your teeth fall out on principle alone. TPM Sister #102

If you decide to have an attorney do your review, find a firm that does a lot of HOA work so that you know their time will be efficiently spent and discuss the price up front. It's not uncommon to find counsel that charges $200+ per hour. You've seen how large the documents are. Just reading them closely can be fairly time-consuming. I would suggest that you request a review at a pre-determined flat rate or that you get an estimate that you can live with up front. People tend to appreciate their counsel much more when they do not have sticker shock upon receipt of the invoice. TPM Sister #102

LOL--I have no idea! You'd have to take it up with the author. Maybe someone else might know what title he may have, or maybe it's just one of those problems with the media. We know for sure that the media can be hit or miss with their facts. TPM Sister #102
