Not quite. 500 people will get t-shirts, assuming that at least 500 people sign up and at least 250 different dropzones are represented. However, the winners will be picked randomly. The rules are sort of goofy, make sure that you read them carefully.

0:4:1 Casa weekend at Archway. 2 four ways, a three way, and a solo. All fun stuff, a great exit on the last four way (even though the freefliers tried to mess with the count), and just a little bit of rain on the last jump. Edit: Added the attached photos. First one is the really crowded packing area, second one is after the beer frog came on.

Red Fusion Dr. Pepper, aka Transmission Fluid Dr. Pepper. Doesn't taste that bad, but the color is really weird.

What's the most vivid memory about your first jump?
indyz replied to prepheckt's topic in The Bonfire
I'm remember letting go, seeing this rainbow colored ball of shit over my head, thinking "I should do something about this," then *thump*. Another canopy? I guess that I had stared at the mal for 30 seconds or so, and my FXC had fired and dumped the Lopo reserve for me. And on my real first jump... I really only remember the landing. Feet way out because I though I would have to run, a light as a feather landing, and then I was sitting down in the field. -
Pause it on the frame, then take a screen shot? It works on some players, and doesn't work on others.

Works fine for me from two different computers.

I don't think that these have been posted here before, and they are just too funny to miss: The Nippleboy posts.

It's about an hour east of St. Louis in Illinois. Maps and stuff are at the dropzone's website.

Are you Kevin that drives the Mustang? Anyway, I'll be there, along with Marc, Sam, John, Tomas, and miscellaneous students.

Security searched a Lufthansa flight earlier because a guy took too long in the bathroom. Turns out it was just a long crap.

A Canadian Senate committee has proposed that Canada legalize marijuana

Pitfall ends! A perfect score is 114,000 points, and somebody at NASA pulled it off. Keen was a great game. The first computer game to have color smooth scrolling backgrounds, and it got a little company called iD Software started.

Great, now I have to go warez a copy of Invasion of the Vorticons before I can get anything else done. Thanks a lot, jerk.

George Carlin didn't write that. Neither did Ted Nugent, but his magazine published it. HTH. HAND.

You could use a escrow service, or ask him to sell it to you via his dropzone's gear store. You'll pay a little bit more in both cases, but a few bucks can be worth it for the peace of mind.

I'll be wrapping up my teenage years in about a month.

0:3:maybe 0, because, um yeah. 3 for a four way with fallingmarc, skymedic, and Aaron that didn't actually build to four, a three way that turned one point, and a solo to practice tracking. "Maybe," because I can't think of anything, but there's always a first when you have as few jumps as I do.

I read that as he needs a canopy that he can shut down every time, because running out a landing would present some sort of problem.

Also, you might want to check out a Hornet main from PISA. The word on the forums is that they fly a lot like a Sabre2. Of the 3 used Sabre2's in the classifieds, only one of them is cheaper than buying a brand new Hornet.

Do you know how to set up filtering in your email client? If you don't, have somebody show you, then filter all of the bounced messages into another folder and take care of them when you have time, instead of clogging up the whole inbox.

I am not an expert by any means, but... Right now my closing loop is very tight. If I do a loose (bulky) pack job, I am at the end of my strength to get the pin in with just a pull-up cord. The pin is secure in that it doesn't move around easily, but I can still extract the pin with my fingers, using nowhere near 80 pounds, or even 20 pounds, of force. The pin still comes out if I grab the bridle and lift straight up, without lifting the rig off of the ground at all. All of that with the loop so tight that if I shortened it any more, I wouldn't be able to close it without some sort of mechanical assistance.

Hey! Were did all of the attachments go?
