  1. This has happened to me. Here was my fix. Go To: start settings control panel internet options advanced multimedia show pics hope it helps
  2. Sounds like you had multiple AIRGASMS and now you can't think straight.
  3. If you don't have your license yet, it's best you call first and explain your situation. This way you know what to expect when you get there. School @ The Ranch 845-255-4033 The Ranch Rocks
  4. That's great. It's Pond Swoop weekend and great weather.
  5. You'll have a great time at The Ranch. When are you coming? kentucky
  6. Hand is raised and shaking. Teacher, i have to pee, BADLY. Broken tib/fib. Not drinking as much as I would've thought. But since my bladder is empty now, i think i'll start. Cheers.
  7. secret mission. uh, if anybody asks, it's just research.
  8. Thanks. It's not the same rig that i'm looking at.
  9. You may have. I'm looking at a Lightning that i saw advertised elsewhere.
  10. Does anyone know where I could find info on the skydivers and the gear they used in the movie Drop Zone?
  11. Broke my tib/fib on June 15. Got a brand shiny new titanium rod in the tib. Healing very well, but no jumping until next season .
  12. I have a rod from my knee to my ankle with 2 anchoring screws holding it from turning inside the bone. The screws can be removed easily or so i'm told. But the rod being 12-13" long will be another story. Removing that would be another surgery and a long recovery. How long i don't know. Amazingly i'm at the dz more now than when i could jump (it's cheaper when you're hurt), but today i'm going to mybrokenleg.com (that's too funny).
  13. Thanks Jimbo, i saw that post and that's what made me want to get more opinions. I'm sure there are people who are jumping w/hardware and may have been for some time. Those are the people i'd like to hear from. Both good and bad.
  14. Last month i broke my tib/fib and now i wonder whether to have the rod removed from the tibia in the future. I've committed myself to keeping it, but i'd like to get other points of view, from those who have/haven't had their hardware removed. Having it done in the off-season is out, as i'm on call 24/7 during the winter.
  15. That is a good read for a pup like me. But, does this mean.....? That i need Trim A for formations. Trim B for competing. What is this cotton buffer panel and why is it used? CRW experience to date. 8 jumps and a broken tib/fib. With lots of time to learn more about CRW.
  16. What's green and goes backwards? (snort in thru your nose loud and hard)
  17. If you have a Para-Gear catalog, it has a Vector sizing chart and a canopy comparison chart. Just be sure to read all the fine print as to whether the sizing includes a Cypres or not.
  18. My wristwrap is made by Cloudflyer,Inc. Bought it at the Ranch Pro Shop. Whether it's the exact one made by one of our jumpers, i can't say for sure.
  19. Foot just slipped out from underneath me, due to all the mud. 6-8 months for full recovery. Season for me is over, but i'll still be there pretty much every weekend. Parties to attend. Beer to be drank. Raping and pillaging as necessary. Villagers beware!
  20. I'll tell you why. How many times did i yell 'somebody get me a camera' ? It took way too long. People kept asking if there was anything that they could do. I repeatedly said "a cold beer would be nice." Never got one though. So yes, it did suck at that time. But it's getting better all of the time.

Daiquiri nite on the 14th . CRW camp that weekend also. Kentucky
  22. i just had a swift plus reserve tested at para-flite. cost $25. it would take a long time to recoup $5000.
  23. ZigZag, thanks. The numbers you gave tell me something. I'm surprised Para-Flite didn't supply them. They did send a copy of pg 354 of 'The Parachute Manual' with the 2nd to last paragraph highlighted." Age does not weaken parachutes ......." But it didn't reference the porosity factor. Thanks again.
  24. I had sent a Swift Plus Reserve dom 10/90 to Para-Flite for testing/inspection ($25). And after getting it back, the report said simply, "Porosity 7.94 cfm. Passed." That's it. No comparison to any type of number or condition. What does that mean? I was expecting more detail in the report. I'll try to get in contact with then tomorrow, but in the mean time I thought I'd try here
