You would think everyone should know this but when making a right turn on red, you have to: look left to see if there's traffic coming; look ahead to see if someone across from you has left green arrow and is about to turn in front of you; look a little to the right to see if someone is making a u-turn; and look further right into where you're turning so you don't run into someone/something.
