You make three statements as fact. 1) The question is not if Sadam had or has WMD's. We all know he did as he used some of them on his own people. Also, information coming out of Iraq shows he was trying to build more. So the question is not if, but where are the WMD's (Korea is a whole different situation) 2) There is a terorism link to Iraq. The SIR states only that they could not find a link between Iraq and 911 3)Freeing the people was secondary benifit. I don't know... I personally don't give a shit about who he was sleeping with. He did an Ok job running the country. I say 'ok' because there isn't really a way to make everyone happy. There will always be people who disagree and people who agree with what is being done by the president. (One of the pluses of being a democratic society.) Are gangs themselves a federal problem, or are they something that should be dealt with at the state level? Certainly some of the crimes committed by gangs are federal crimes, but other people with no gang affiliation commit these crimes too. Personally, I think this is an issue that ought to be left to the individual states, or even cities. - Jim I think you are on the right track but should it go even a step further? By that I mean when crimes are committed the right authority has to be involved for sure, but dealing with gangs and why they form should not be a government issue. (I do not think that the government should deal with social issues) Communities need to get together to find the root causes and fix them. Gangs are an environment issue. Did you see the whole speech? That quote was in the context that he is now a lesser part of the puzzle. It was meant that since his network is in shambles, he is less important.
