Total BS. The Vet community does it all the time. Allow Doctors to practice their art without all of the other morons telling them how to do it and amazing things would happen.

People, though, won't do that for themselves. They want somebody else to pay for it. Yep, we are all just a big flock of sheep, heading for the slaughter. Health care is a privilege not a God given right.

Of course if it was more serious (ankle/knee)I would gone to a doctor. What do you mean, we handle those injuries all the time. :)

If you tally up all of the people who make their living off of the doctor/patient interaction, insurance companies, lawyers etc, it is no surprise. As a Veterinarian I treat my patients with the same medications, training, professionalism for much less, since I don't have to support a massive organization supposedly adding value to my services.

So why would you care at all that gay people want the same rights as you??? More importantly, why would you deny them the same rights as you??? If all that is required to make something right and acceptable is the consent of the "adults" involved, where do you draw the line? There is all kinds of weird and perverse situations that adults will consent to.

More & more science is showing that life in general is an anomaly, growing to the point we're now at, even more-so. In the grand scheme our whole galaxy could disappear into a dust cloud and it would have no effect on the universe. 'We' matter less than squat in the big picture....if believing in a God keeps away the ulcers and lets ya sleep at night, good on you. Science also shows that all of the matter and energy that makes you a reality has & will exist eternally in one form or another. How can you rationally deduce that your consciousness is any exception to the eternal nature of the universe.

Just wondering what sort of figures this poll will get. I heard some1 say that to skydive you've got to be prepared to die. I think that's bullshit, I reckon I've got more chance of dying on the way to or from the DZ. But since it was a born again christian that said it, it made me think, "well lucky you if you do!" Your "poll" tells a lot more about you than it does about what others think. Does your lack of spiritual awareness make you uneasy?

Not at all. As a country we were trying to help NK stay just an annoyance, now they have graduated to a possible nuclear target. The people of NK & the world should feel a lot safer.

The first clue came when god doesn't exist. After that it gets more complicated. But God does exist, and once you finally see yourself for what you really are, it is easy to let go and embrace God for Who He is, and accept what He has to offer.

Seeing how the last prayer campaign went, I thought an earlier start couldn't possibly hurt. What makes you think the prayers weren't answered? God has the execution of His plan under control, we are the ones who need help in understanding it. The Bible is very clear about things getting much worse before they can start getting better.

So YOU can ignore things the Bible says that don't "jive" with your views of spiritual truth, but call others who do the same "misguided". Sounds like cherry picking HYPOCRISY to me. Since the Bible is not a Science text book, little detail is given to scientific explanation. My understanding of the Hebrew grammar in Genesis 1 allows for indefinite periods of time in between the sentences. I know it is a useful tactic to divert attention from what is important onto the obscure when trying to discredit a point of view. The real importance & power of the information presented in the Bible comes when knowledge of the spiritual information is understood, mixed with faith and applied to ones life. Things not understood have no power and need further study until God elucidates the meaning. Most scientific fact is left to our own discovery as you well know. On the other hand, true spiritual Wisdom is given to us from God. ...
