  1. Hmm. You still haven't indicated what I said that shows a lack of comprehension. Go ahead - the bandwidth excuse is wimpy. So far your attack on me seems rather small minded. The forecast is mostly sunny with occasional beer.
  2. What did I fail to comprehend? The forecast is mostly sunny with occasional beer.
  3. True dat. I'll cut him a break for not knowing how to pronounce a few words. I think this goes to more of 1) Teleprompterism 2) Lack (TOTAL LACK) of military knowledge by the CIC Hell, the guys in the Marine Corpse fly his chopter! The forecast is mostly sunny with occasional beer.
  4. I got the same impression but wrote it off as poor video quality. There was a little slur in his voice though, huh? Probably not alcohol drunk but definitely punch drunk. The forecast is mostly sunny with occasional beer.
  5. Didn't take long for the BDIF to kick in. {shocked} Actually, I should cut him a break - he has "corpse" on the brain from watching the death of his radical agenda. The forecast is mostly sunny with occasional beer.
  6. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2010/02/04/obama_mispronounces_corpsman_at_prayer_breakfast.html For all of you who think this guy is so intelligent, take a look at this. It's painful. Of significance is that it's a military term, and there are Navy corpsmen stationed at the White House. Seriously, can't they upgrade the teleprompter to include a pronunciation guide? The forecast is mostly sunny with occasional beer.
  7. Its interesting to watch the prez during all of this. During a campaign speech for Coakley he said he didn't know what Brown's record was. ???? So why opose him? Hell, Brown could be a fellow marxist if that's the case., Have you guys heard Obama's analysis of the election? In and interview with Stephanopolis he said Brown was swept into office by the same sentiment that swept him into office, anger over the past 8 years! Now that's fresh. He campaigns for Coakley, and and when she doesnt win, he blames it on Bush. What a MORON. The forecast is mostly sunny with occasional beer.
  8. I've been watching the demographics of likely voters and a large number identify themselves as independent. They are the one who swayed this election., Apparently fed up with the radical nature of the bullshit going on in the Senate right now. Hopefully most of the Dems will see this as an indication of their chances of re election, and will shift away from HIS MAJESTY'S agenda appropriatly. But, the hard core socialist radicals will still try to push this crap through, so shennanigans may still follow. In any case, Ted K's ghost and I will hoist anoter whiskey. Actually, I'm kickin him out. He's drinkin all my stash. But heres to you Ted! The forecast is mostly sunny with occasional beer.
  9. You gotta be shittn me. She asked the Prez himself to get involved, which of course he did. And that is the beauty of this. His majesty just got fucking BODY SLAMMED. He begs one of the most progressive states in the union to just show up and elect another Dem, and what do they do? Wow. What a statement. I'm gonna have a little crown and coke. Power to da people!!!! (esp. the independents!) The forecast is mostly sunny with occasional beer.
  10. There's a major difference. You are FREE to pay premiums. You get to choose to pay them, or handle the health care of yourself and your family as best you see fit. Its that whole freedom and responsibility thing. The forecast is mostly sunny with occasional beer.
  11. I don't know jack about D.U., but this sounds interesting. How does it burn them alive? Does D.U. have incindiary properties? I really don't know so please tell me how this works. Richards Uranium burns spontaneously in air if finely powdered (pyrophoric). A round hitting armor will disintegrate into fine enough particles to catch fire. So yes, it does have incendiary properties under those conditions. How bad is it? Very very bad, for the enemy tank commander. It has self sharpening properties that increase penetration. The increased kinetic energy turns the material it hits in many cases into molten metal which accompanies the projectile into the tank. If the round doesn't penetrate it can still have an effect called "spalling" where the interior surface of the tank armor becomes shrapnel. Hot or molten metal bouncing around inside that little space reduces the tank crew's life span considerably. If you're lucky they have at least one or two willy pete rounds still in their magazine, and when they start to cook off the other rounds will sporadically detonate sending what looks like fireworks and sparklers radiating from a white hot fire that a few seconds before was an enemy tank. It's bad stuff. In a beautiful sort of way. The first I heard of spalling was a documentary about WW1 called "Digging up the trenches." Enemy snipers would hide behind steel plate making them insanely difficult to shoot. Soldiers figured out if they removed their bullets from the casings and inserted them in backwards spalling would occur when hitting the steel plate wounding anyone behind it. Full penetration is much better. The forecast is mostly sunny with occasional beer.

  13. I appreciate your honesty. I'm clumsier than you'll ever be. For some reason, modern "conservatism" has come to mean Jerry Fallwell. I think that's unfortunate. I think your friend's "real American" is closer to what I consider a real American than what, say, many liberal politicians or philosophers would come up with, but as soon as you say "all real American's" you allienate so many. I say that because I believe the US was founded to promote and protect individual liberty and achievement, and that is what Rand was/is promoting. For the founders, the enemy of liberty was the tyrant, the despot. For Rand it was tyrannical government that evolved from the industrial revolution and subsequent power grabs for the sake of the "worker." These days insert any victim group in that placeholder. Your friend is a fallen man, as we all are to some extent. Governments are made of fallen people, people who have addictions, who are tempted sexually, are greedy. You can't change the nature of man, so which do you prefer - a system where you are left to achieve or fail, make bad moral decisions, on your own, - or a system where those things occur with intrusive/coercive action from a collective of immoral people/ people who don't share your view of morality? Rand was certainly a hard ass. I think Atlas Shrugged is worth the read. I disagree with Rand on some things, including religion and individual charity, but I do think society would be better off with her philosophy than with what we have now and the socialism we are "fast approaching." Label me a "very small government conservative." The forecast is mostly sunny with occasional beer.
  14. You're confusing different types of conservatism in a small minded attack. The forecast is mostly sunny with occasional beer.
  15. It's more accurate when I change the punctuation. Your own words are confusing you. The forecast is mostly sunny with occasional beer.
  16. Sure, anyone with a prior conviction, I say we just have the right to threaten them at will. In fact, the word, "outlaw" used to mean since you operated as a law breaker you were outside thje protection of teh law. Now this is: A) about me B) about taxation????? How am I for the threat of violence in order to redistribute wealth. Since you must tangent, pls tell me how. I'll just let you tell you how. Again, to further your tangent: Great, you can cut-n-paste; super proud of you, now tie in increased taxes to threats or coercion. Hell, you could be a fine, fine president like Reagan or GWB and under those major tax cuts if you fail to pay taxes you will be jailed ,etc. So how are tax increases about threats, intimidation and coercion? Are you saying any taxes are about the above? That's what's difficult about answering cut-n-pasters, they are extremely ambiguous. Your own words are confusing you? The forecast is mostly sunny with occasional beer.

  18. So, you're NOT ok with threatening violence against a known perp. You're FOR the threat of violence in order to redistribute wealth. Got it. The forecast is mostly sunny with occasional beer.
  19. At least he is honorable enough to steal without hiding behind politicians. The forecast is mostly sunny with occasional beer.
  20. Hmm. I think that if you start that chain of events through your illegal actions, you can't argue self defense. I'm not positive of that though, maybe lawrocket will drive by and shed some light on that. The forecast is mostly sunny with occasional beer.
  21. It's memorable because it's indicative of how the guy operates. He doesn't have a plan for anything. No plan for Afganistan, no plan for health care reform either, he's just pushing the Democrats to do something, anything. All his life he's never had to work, and he's relied on his charm and personality to get what he wants. Now that it's not working, I think you're going to see some real frustration on his part, because I don't think he's very tough. He's a child in a man's game. What is truly unbelievable is that Oprah couldn't get this done. Why didn't she just buy them all cars and take them on a cruise? She'll be going into a deep depression soon and packing on the pounds like a bear going into hibernation. The forecast is mostly sunny with occasional beer.
  22. Definitely Penelope Cruz in the backless dress. The forecast is mostly sunny with occasional beer.
  23. A little to charity. As for you and paid medical expenses, unless you tag along with a poor person you don't pay theirs either. Sorry, but tehre is no connect ebtween your taxes and anyones HC bill. Altho you will claim there is. I don't need to redeem myself, perhaps you can by not wanting to disallow your fellow countrymen and women HC. I see that you've learned well from folks like Joe Biden. It's great to give away other people's money. That makes you compassionate. As for no connection between HC and taxes - how do redistributive government programs get paid for? An economic primer for you: a) Taxation (stealing from the current generation) b) Deficit / Borrowing (stealing from future generations) Is there another way I'm not aware of? And I don't mean ponzi schemes like social security. That doesn't count. I say we take over Saudi and give the oil money to our poor. That will make the Saudis the most compassionate people in the world! We should really do them that favor. The forecast is mostly sunny with occasional beer.
  24. Well, I haven't paid attention to your Zimbabweism till just now. Ya see, I was refering to the post where you condone thievery, but not international thievery. That's terribly inconsiderate of you, but I'll give you the chance to redeem yourself. Over the past several years, how much have you given to charity? Have you ever paid for a poor person's medical care? The forecast is mostly sunny with occasional beer.
  25. If you are the grammar police, we are in twouble! As for your point, I think you should definitely limit your attempts at thievery to your own country. The forecast is mostly sunny with occasional beer.
