    We just went over this in detail at my riggers course last month. From the FAA rep: Foreign nationals are allowed to jump their gear as long as it meets the standards set in their home country.     I did this once as a kid (didn't know how filthy flies were back then). It did work but if one of the flies is bigger than the others, it will pull the thing around its flight axis.     I have to agree that it's probably a good idea to give up tandems. Close contact and the potential for even a minor open injury would dictate caution.     GO TO ELOY!!! I walked in there, unannounced, knowing not a single soul and had four days of spanking cool jumps. Got to do a balloon (my first), almost got to do a wing suit (weather) and got to see some of the most awsome scenery ever. Go, go, go!!! Skydivers don't knock on Death's door.     I have many hobbies other than jumping. I ski, fly planes, bicycle, hike, go to museums and lectures. Skydiving is just my number one hobby. Working shift work allows me opportunities to do thing away from the ebb and flow of non-participants. This work well with girlfriends who want no part of jumping. Although, I find that non jumpers don't work as well as jumpers do for the long term. One thing is for sure: your status quo is about to undergo a MAJOR change. Skydivers don't knock on Death's door.     Grilled Chicken Breast Sandwich: 2 Boneless, skinless breast sections 1/2 cup olive oil (Extra Virgin is best) 4 tbsp Old Bay seasoning 1 tsp Black pepper 1 tsp Oregano powder 1 tsp White pepper 2 Steak rolls Ranch dressing Place spices and oil in a bowl and mix thoroughly. Place breast sections in a ziplock bag and cover with spice mixture. Sit for 45 mins at room temp OR overnight in the fridge. Remove from bag and grill over med high heat until juices run clear (abt 3 mins per side). Top with ranch dressing , lettuce or whatever veggies you like on toasted steak roll.
