    exactly...i voted for the bad boy...not that i want to be treated poorly...but i do like a guy with a little bit of a wild side to him....that is how i am. i don't want to be trampled on or treated poorly...but i do like a man who gets a little crazy on occasion. you can take that flame resistant suit off by the way......     and she did seriously though it is so hard to be a teenager these days and to struggle with the things they have to deal with....at least she is willing to talk to you...even if it is in an online forum....there is communication which is more than some of us have with our 16 yr old children DPH # 2 "I am not sure what you are suppose to do with that, but I don't think it is suppose to flop around like that." ~Skootz~ I have a strong regard for the rules.......doc!

    well said...it is what you make of it.....so much in life works that way. there are always growing pains to be had....but without a little pain there is no reward as far as I am concerned....the pain makes you grow as a person and adjust and changes you. as far as i am concerned i will always have a love of the sky...just like i do for the sea. it gets inside of you, makes you breath.......but only because i have opened my heart to it with no expectation in return. there are periods of frustration.....but that is part of the learning and growing experience...something that i embrace ------not everyone is willing to do that.     right now you live with your parents so their rules are pretty much what has to go....but even if you don't get to jump...go to the dz and learn as much as possible. watch everyone land....learn how to pack....absorb as much as you can from the instructors. it may take patience and time but you will get there....there is always the tunnel to go and spend money on to work on your skills.....some of it will transfer when you get into the air. enjoy your adventure...it is a great one and skydiving can change your life...i know it changed mine.     For me we didn't go out much this year due to my injury.....next year we will probably be out enough that livendive will tire of being our neighbor.     this is an opportunity to share something with your daughter....need i say more???? most kids at that age think their parents are idiots...sounds like she has seen what you do and is impressed by it. Take it and run with it.........she could be taken away tomorrow in a car accident or walking across the street...at least by doing this she is doing something that she loves.     ohhhh...that there is perty! I agree with the SADD....I find I am more blue in the winter months...thank goodness doc spoils me and takes me to warm places...it makes it less traumatic to be up here in the winter months.
