    My ex had his out 2 years ago as well as sinus surgery...was miserable for 5-7 days with no complications. Just depends on how you do in all honesty. Some people do really well, isn't too bad for them and others have complications or have trouble with pain management. I think some of the big problems is pain control and hydration. If you sleep with your mouth open you will find that your pain will be worse because the back of the throat dries out so bad. Stay on top of your pain, stay well hydrated ---- I believe that if you do that you will recover in a more timely manner.     That's why the internet rocks! You can find exactly what you want, email a few links, and they can pick and choose what they would like to get you. AND buy it right then and there online...don't have to fight traffic or crowds! No...you don't understand.....there is a reason I wouldn't leave it to my family - yours would probably be just fine, mine not so much.     yeah....I understand that. My neptune quit working at about 5000ft when we were in elsinore.....my 3rd or 4th jump being back to jumping. It is in getting fixed right now. Skydiving wish list....don't really have one, I don't really leave my family up to buying anything skydiving related because they have no clue what to get or even how to go about it in all honesty.     I usually work thanksgiving and either christmas eve or day...just depends on what we have going on. I do tend to decorate although I don't think I will this year ---- even the kids were saying "no" to a tree. One annual tradition is making candy with the kids...anything from almond roca to truffles....it usually is a 2 day event. We invite friends over break out the wine and spend the day making goodies.     I know I am totally spoiled. I have great friends, a great man who is not only my best friend, but the best husband anyone could have. He is always supportive of my dreams and ambitions, no matter how crazy they are. I have a great family and wonderful kids, a job that allows me to what I love ------ and still I manage to keep my health as well

    Roy, I am so sorry that you are going through this. I am not going to add anything at this point as you have gotten a lot of great advice, other than to say take care of your own emotional needs as well.....just wanted to offer you hugs and to remind you that you have a lot of people around you who will be there for you if you need them. Just let us know and keep us posted.     Our prime season was about 3-4 weeks ago when it was still warm...it is a little cooler now (a whopping 33 degrees this morning) so it hasn't been quite as bad. My pet peeve is where they hide right at where the speed limit changes.     It was a choice for me.....800$in business for showing up for 3 hours or taking money away from you. I would love to take your money but this was a little better guarantee I am planning on playing on thanksgiving if a game is up and running.
