Craig, I check that page often, as well as the wingsuit forum on the BASE board. Not much action is right; that page needs updating, as does a lot of Jari's site. I will send you stuff as I get it. Chuck My webpage HERE

Chopping from a mal with your wingsuit on
SkymonkeyONE replied to SkymonkeyONE's topic in Wing Suit Flying
Not a problem dude. It's all about getting more people trained, that way we don't have to fly around by ourselves. Chuck My webpage HERE -

That pose and those just like it are entirely the idea of Jari Kuosma, so blame him. . My webpage HERE

Ah! Then "A" it must be. Actually, if you have never even seen The Offender, then that wouldn't make any sense. How can you say you have wrassled someone if in fact you have never met them face to face? My initial two choices must therefore be incorrect, that is, unless The Offender has spun some truly remarkable tale to back his story. Barring that, it might be something completely different, but I doubt it. Either way, lieing about something in as small a circle as active skydivers are is just asking to get busted out. Hey Brandon, that video is smacky-booty and all, but where are the pics of us drinking on Duval Street in Key West? Chuck My webpage HERE -

Right on, Jussi. Both Jari and Kim say you are a great dude, so hopefully we will get to flock together soon. Chuck My webpage HERE

Oh, I know that. I was just adding a bit more to what was on my mind, not responding to your post really. My webpage HERE

Well, obviously my first post was meant to at a bit of levity to the situation. As far as the "as the prop turns" attitude found around many dropzones (especially the student training vendors!): unfortunately, that is a fact of life. Some people are straight-up trophy hunters and their antics are despicable. It's bad for business and especially bad for the overall dropzone "vibe". Chuckie My webpage HERE

Attached is a picture Jari took of some of us at the CSS Easter boogie a couple of weeks ago. I am the third guy from the left in the red/white GTi. My webpage HERE

My favorite cookies are Girl Scout Thin Mints. I MUST have a very large glass of milk though, or I won't eat them. I have six boxes of them in my pantry. My least favorite cookies are the ones that collect on my C-drive. I generally get rid of them at least once a week by hitting my start button on windows, then hitting "find" followed by "files or folders". I hit that button then type in "cookies." When the folders come up, I open them and delete everything but the index page. Are those the same cookies that you don't like? My webpage HERE

Just a guess.....Someone is boasting that they have wrassled you and either: "A"- it never happened and you're pissed about it; or "B"-it's true, but you didn't want anyone to find out and now you are pissed about it and making counter-accusations. If it's "A", then you should just call a spade a spade and name the person, since you brought it up in the first place. That way, other lovlies know not to get to close to this cad. Oh, the nerve! That, or just have someone kick his ass. If it's "B", then you should remember what kind of people people most skydivers are: fringe Jezabells and whore mongers who are likely to end up in a dogpile on a greased air mattress at any moment after the beer light comes on. Never be afraid to boast of your sexual hijinx around other skydivers. That would be like getting a beacon number and then denying it after the fact to the 20 people who watched the whole thing. Am I on target here? This was, of course, not meant to offend. Chuck My webpage HERE

Derek, was the purpose of this intentional cutaway to see what force would be generated on that three ring system with that Spinetto? Please elaborate. My webpage HERE

This is completely besides the point, but nonetheless relevant. Skydiving is hard on your body. Jumping tandem and ESPECIALLY video is even harder on your body. It is pretty amazing to me that your S&TA does not have health insurance. While it is "fun" to make a living solely off of a dropzone, I would not do so if it meant compromising my own health or the health and welfare of my family. My neck was repeatedly injured as a result of jumping video in the late 80's and early 90's. MANY of my friends here at Raeford have had to have "the operation" on their neck. My dad had it when he was about 55 years old. I need it badly, but would rather just not wear a camera helmet anymore, so that's what I do. Being in the service, I have never had to worry about downtime or medical care, but I have several friends who have had their lives destroyed due to not having insurance. One of my best friends, now living in Florida and jumping at Z-hills piled in very badly under his Jedei. Just out of the Army and not having a lick of insurance, he was making a living as a tandem bitch. The helicopter life-flight and the hospital bill from his accident were tremendous. He claimed indigency and the state ate the loss. It took him well over a year to get his body even remotely healed. Bottom line: you better have insurance of some type or you are going to eventually end up being one of these sob stories. NOBODY is immune to freak accidents. It's better to skimp in some other way than to not have insurance. Keep rolling the dice and eventually you are going to get bit. Chuck My webpage HERE

500th jump? Stacy, didn't you make your 100th jump at the CSS Easter Boogie last year? If so, you have truly been jumping your ass off. PS: we missed you girls this year. Chuckie My webpage HERE

A whopping five minutes on the computer netted me the following information: Twin Falls is 135 miles from Skydive Idaho in Meridian Twin Falls is 152 miles from Skydown Skydiving in Caldwell. Both of those dropzones have contact information in the "dropzones" section of this website. Not sure if there is anything closer out of state, but a trip to http://www.mapquest.com will save you a ton of guessing as to which ones to check out. Chuck My webpage HERE

BWAHAHAHAHA! Some of those are very nice! Click on the link to my website at the bottom of my post and see my original "official" Skymonkey logo. It is painted five feet by five feet on the wall behind our bar at the GB Parachute Club on Fort Bragg. Still, I will print your page out, carry it to the loft and post it on the board so people will buy them. I am sure they will be terribly popular. Also, PM me about a proposition I have. I am sure there will be plenty of DZ-run meets this season on the East coast. Sky's the Limit had one last year the weekend after the Pond Swoop nationals. There has already been one in Z-hills this year. As far as PPPB meets go, the closest one listed so far is Lake Havasu over Memorial Day weekend. I will be out there for that one, but like you, I would really like to see some more meets pop up along the I-95 corridor. Chuck My webpage HERE

I was tasked by our fearless leader today to moderate this great new forum. While it is true that I am a new BirdMan Instructor, I am certainly no Jari Kuosma. I think Jussi and Chris are by far the most experienced wingsuit flyers here and I will defer to them as often as possible. I will call Jari and Kim and tell them we have a winsuit-specific forum here on the boards. Maybe that will get him coming around. As with the Swoop and Canopy Control forum, I would like to keep this board as clutter free as possible. Let's try to keep the threads on topic and start new ones when there is a clear change of direction. This makes it MUCH easier for us all to reference these archives for our own learning or instructional purposes. Wingsuit flying is really "taking off" and I am just as excited as the rest of you to post my lessons learned and hear about what the rest of the flock is up to. I am not sure about you guys, but at least 50 percent of my jumps are in my suit now and I am amazed at the crap I can do in the thing. Later, Chuck My webpage HERE
