Skydive Arizona Dropzone.com 2nd Annual Holiday Boogie
SkymonkeyONE replied to sangiro's topic in The Bonfire
I will be the only one cuddling with Katie, woman. -
Kris is leaving Rantoul right now. Glen is loading his stuff onto the DC3 for a very soon departure, Moody just said goodbye.

Do not expect BirdMan to send you a demo suit as an individual unless you have over 500 jumps. That said, we (as BM-I's) are the people who normally do that demo ordering. It's getting to the point now that we are very reluctant to just send suits out people who cannot recieve proper instruction. That said, there are quite a few BM-I's out in the field now, so it ought not be hard to locate one. Still, I feel the best opportunities to get the training with the least amount of hassle are at the big functions, like here at WFFC. There are not less than seven BM-I's here at the convention. I don't recall if you have any mods on your shit our not, but if not, you need to get with the program. Bobby Pritchard almost went in twice due to PC in tow and inability (insufficient drag on risers to operate three ring) to cutaway. He got smart quick and had his corners cut on his old rig, bought a new Mirage with cut corners, and got a proper PC. "Just getting by" is not good enough in this discipline. Get the proper equipment to do the job right. That said, anyone here can do a search in this forum to see how I dump. I throw out, count to two, then drop my knees so that my bag pulls cleanly off my back. There are a lot of people jumping suits now. More and more of them are finding out that "standard" gear will get them by for some time, but eventually it's going to hose them. Be smart and stay alive. Those comments are not directed at anyone in particular, but if the shoe fits, wear it. Chuck Blue BM-I

We, the Raeford Posse, are bringing our own packer. She will work for jump tickets. Her "real" job will be packing for us at BirdMan.

Speaking of that, where is Sky? Chuckie

Me, LouDiamond, Packaho, and MonkeyLip will be on-site Wednesday night.
-
Please do NOT wear socks with your Tevas like some soccer weenie. Andrea, I am appalled.
-
Yes, we have Raff's monster golf cart, and no, SunCheHag cannot drive it. Nor can any of the rest of you for that matter. It is S1 and Raeford Posse conveyance only. Chuck

I have owned 12 PD canopies. PD is vedy, vedy good to me and I am good to them.

What? The R.A.G.E.? The one I saw was an 85 I think.
-
Yep, that was a smacker! I wonder if Robi stopped at that farm for a coctail after his flight? Go, Robi, Go! Chuck

All the Raeford P will arrive late Wednesday night.
-
No. We will not discuss any details of this on this site. End of discussion.

Especially under an elliptical tandem main. I, like John, have my passenger in the harness, correctly and ready to exit, prior to setting foot on the airplane. In an emergency exit on reserve (anything above 2500 feet in my book), I will hook up the top left snap, grab the passenger around the waist with my right arm, then bail out with my hand on the reserve handle. If I can get two snaps done, great. If I have time to get all four done, even better. If I feel I am high enough and have at least both top snaps done, then I will get out on the main. I am absolutely NOT a fan of TM's who let their passengers walk out to and get onto the plane with the harness hanging off their ass, only to adjust them into exit condition at "hook up altitude." I, unfortunately, have to see this every single day from the other people who co-habitate my dropzone. Chuck

Kolla, it's almost time for coctails!

Jason Eames, kicking it for the Orange crowd!

There are at least three different versions of that event, all traceable in this forum.

I am sure you mean Velo 96, but we won't hold that against your story...

Skydiving: How Old Then, How Old Now?
SkymonkeyONE replied to Kramer's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I was 17 when I made my first skydive 22 fucking years ago. I will be 40 in September. I have an extremely attractive sub-30 girlfriend (with all her teeth and boobs just the way I like them: one on the left and one on the right). I have no gray hairs; outstanding grooming standards and I am not sucking. -

The "jump it again right away" thing is what I do. No faster way to dry it. Chuck

Nobody on this site from Houston actually parties. Last time I was there, even with five days notice, I found exactly zero people who wanted to come out and play. Lot's of excuses, very little action. Now, which one of you Houston people want to argue about it? I will accept counter-points from each and every Houston person that actually showed up when I was there. Chuck
