  1. SM1 maybe but not Bill.... Liberals aint totin guns too often well except for me.. and a much more rewarding head for the wall..everyone has deer or elk heads... but I haven't seen any monley heads. Amazon
  2. Laurenburg is an incredibly poor place to hold the meet, unless they planning on doing it over at the FBO. The GK pavillion is on the very farthest side of the airport and has no facilites at all. That said, if the meet is in fact going to be run at Laurenburg, then anyone coming here for the meet will need to bring everything they need to eat and drink with them. I am sure they will bring some porta-potties out there, but the nearest place to get any food from there is around eight miles away (a quick stop). Packing in the grass at that pavillion is absolutely not advisable. There are more cuckaburrs and sand spurs there than you will ever be able to pick out of your canopy. I can't imagine why they would want to run the meet there. I will ask about it today and report back. Chuck PS: Unless something has changed, the meet is open to all servicemember who have a valid ID card. Reservists and National Guardsmen, plus members of every branch of service, including the Coast Guard are permitted to attend, but not dependants.
  3. Does anyone really think I was kidding?
  4. That's Betsy's "stomp my you-know" pic
  5. What annoys ME? Blatant post whoring. I cannot stand it when people PW just for the sake of racking up numbers. No new "PW" rating is going to make you a better skydiver, so please just chill out. I am FAR too busy nowadays editing and deleting stupid shit out of these forums. Listen, I get around to a LOT of boogies, so if you think getting pissy with me or any of my cohorts is going to get you anywhere, you are sadly mistaken. Once again: CHILL if you have nothing productive to say. Edited to say: yes, this is a fantastic place to build relationships and make friends from all over the world. Yes, Talk Back is a sort of chat room, but there really do need to be some guidelines. Chuck Blue D-12501 "I have my finger on the magic button"
  6. The XRS Jav was intended for "standard" mains below 100 square feet. I have a Sabre2 97 in one of mine (tight) and a Velocity 79 in my other one (also pretty fuckng tight)
  7. That depends on what level of demo you are talking about doing. If you are talking about a demo that you used to be able to do with 200 jumps, then you will still qualify, as I understand, so long as you still meet the minimum jump requirements. The reason you must have a "new" D for PRO and tandems is that 500 jumps is the jump number requirement for both of those. Chuck
  8. That sounds like the system that Jim and Lyle had at Panama City.
  9. Both that I have seen pictures of had both people in wingsuits. As to the "how would the tandem master reach..." question: an understanding of wingsuit function would tell you that there is no problem releasing your arms. That said, as with any "stunt", I am sure the minimum altitudes were adjusted up to compensate for the added risk. Chuck
  10. We have plenty of flat surfaces here. AC is cold as well.
  11. It's incredibly fucking cold at Eloy during that boogie. Bring LOTS of warmies and don't sleep in a tent that does not have a rain fly. For that matter, don't make the mistake of walking into a tent that someone set up for you three day prior, just before the only rainstorm of the decade. Holy shit. Team trailers or Hotels are the only smart choice for me out there ever again. Chuck
  12. All I have to say is that if we are no longer afforded that insurance coverage, then our dues better be going DOWN soon.
  13. Actually the PST uses cameras AND electronic sensors to score entrance gates. Remember, Ramon? The wireless aparatus that Lyle was fucking with on the first day at Panama City?
  14. Mine also is a variation on my dropzone.com screen name. Mono Uno Rodriguez
  15. did you hit him with your rhythm stick?
  16. Indeed. I was happy to see Eric Butts in so many. That boy ain't right!
  17. It looks to be about as painful as surfing the web or sending E-mail from my cellphone, which is to say "it sucks." Still, it's an interesting gadget and I plan on playing with it in my spare time to see what I can get away with. As to jumping the thing, my plan is to use it solely with a BoneHead fully articulated belly mount. My neck can't take a camera of any size, so this seems to be a good plan. I already have access to the belly mount, so I think I will play with it this weekend. Cheers, Chuck
  18. Agreed. Seeing the mass, "no landing skill having" majority of participants at the WFFC will even further strengthen that belief. The incredibly vast majority of skydivers out there absolutely do not need a canopy more agressive than a Sabre2. Most people flying canopies more agressive that that have no concept of what their canopy is capable of, yet vanity urges them into "sexier" mains. Chuck
  19. It was his wish that his ashes get scattered over Monterey. We will be dropping some of them over Raeford as well, right after the world meet. It's my understanding that someone is driving at least half of his ashes out to California either this week or next. Chuck Blue
  20. Small Saphire on my left top-of-hand. I also sometimes wear an Altimaster II on a wedge on my left hip. Slopperfect promised me another one, but neglected to give it to me.
  21. Like Andrea said: if you have a problem with an individual, simply block PM's from that person. Chuck
  22. LeRoy, you neglected to mark your post NSFW (Not safe for work). As a result, someone opened it and was appalled, then subsequently complained. We are in the process of working out an SOP for marking such attachments, and what constitutes "bad taste". No, we are not about to ban nudity, but realize this isn't a porn site. That said, as I recall, I didn't see a single one of you girls showing your package in that thread. LOL Chuck
  23. True. Make her gargle with gasoline to clean out that vaseline. Just kidding. Actually, I am totally with Wendy on this one as well. The sooner she gets over the piercing fetish the better in my opinion. I know a lot of girls with scars on their eyebrows, lips and noses now who wish they had never done any of that.
