  1. You would not believe the amount of shit I have to delete on a regular basis. Some people have no common sense whatsoever when it comes to what should and should not be posted. "This is no democracy" is not a joke. If you cannot live by our simple rules we are more than happy to censure you. Live with the rules or move on. As Andrea pointed out, this is an international forum. People need to take that into consideration before posting inflamatory subjects. Chuck
  2. 1. "Behind Closed Doors with Joan Lunden" I was the guy that taught and flew Joan in the Fort Bragg wind tunnel. That gets rerun at least once a month or so. 2. Front page of the local paper three times for either skydiving, barefooting, or wakeboarding when it was snowing outside.
  3. The second one was especially cool due to the BM airblade in the background....
  4. I would add that I really don't think the larger suit is a very smart vanity purchase. If you are going to fly your suit a LOT, then you will eventually figure out how to fly it well, but if you only make the rare wingsuit flight I believe you will end up disappointed. Like Kim said, I didn't really like my original SkyFlyer when I first started flying it, but I just had to have one. I was ruling the sky in my GTi, but was quite sketchy for some time in the SkyFlyer; it was disheartening to say the least. Eventually, I got the suit wired, but still preferred the GTi for instructional dives because it has better "pop" at the slower airspeeds you get caught at when flying with young birdies. You really need speed to get the additional lift possible with the SkyFlyer, so flying dirty, especially when you don't have a lot of experience on the suit, will leave you possibly regretting your decision as people in Classics and GTi's sail up and away from you. Currency is very important on the larger suits. That said, the SkyFlyer 3, even though it's even bigger, gives a better sense of "comfort" than my old SkyFlyer. Once again though: if you suck in a SkyFlyer 3, people in GTi's are going to smoke your ass in the sky. If you are going to spend the requisite amount of time in the suit to get your finesse down, then I would say you would probably want to snatch up a good deal if you find one. If you are are not planning on spending that time, then you would be MUCH better off with a GTi or something. Like myself and others here have said: you can still absolutely rule the sky in a GTi or even a Classic II. Chuck Blue
  5. I just got off the phone with Cajones about a half hour ago and he told me that the video was to have been delivered to some people at Rantoul, but he was not able to pass off the product due to Lew's untimely injury. Bottom line: you will all be getting your videos soon. Chuck
  6. Jesus, J.P.! What the fuck are you thinking? Don't you know that there will be a $25 dollar per day fee to use your own coffee machine on SDA property?! Honestly, man; taking food out of some baby's mouth! For shame! You better get with the program, boy.
  7. There is not a better, more comfortable passenger harness than the Sigma. One must take customer comfort as a high priority, right?? PM on the way. Chuck
  8. Medium nowadays. I used to be a medium-well, but I like it a bit jucier now.
  9. OMG....you were listening. Now if I can just get you to use it on some people. Not me though. Pot-Kettle............BWAHAHAHAHAHA!
  10. Copies of what video? I saw Lew and Cajones every single day I was there and do not recall them saying that the video was done.
  11. I am a really good teacher. I have devoted most of my life to teaching one subject or another in various languages and on several continents. I get great satisfaction from teaching. I can do some phenomenal tricks on my bare feet behind a ski boat. I am quite adept at cooking meat on an open-flame grill. I am incredibly fast and accurate with firearms and have spent a lot of time as the number one man in CQB entry formations.
  12. Did I steal one of your cockatillios? Senator, I do not recall that incident.
  13. Kolla is a genuinely great person and I am happy to have her as a friend. Chuckie
  14. That is absolutely not the case most places. Unless I am organizing, I am paying for my fun jumps. Granted, it's at a discounted rate, but I pay nonetheless. That said, I am a full-time school manager/chief instructor/meat hauler. It is not a glamorous life, but I don't mind it. I do not let my less-than-perfect work dives get me down and I keep my interest in the sport piqued by staying on the cutting edge of new disciplines. Chuck
  15. We have two here as well; both with Icarus mains (which fly great). The rig flies just like a Vector II tandem, but is a bit more comfortable on me over the shoulders.
  16. Remember, I have projectile vomiting skills and a deadly aim, young monkelito.
  17. Actually, in every single drag plane (or "pendullum" as the US Army Parachute Team calls it) that I have ever done or seen done, we first drop the bottom two people off and let it drop into a standard downplane before then breaking the downplane at whatever your SOP altitude is (ours is 300 feet under StarTracs). Chuck
  18. I will take all the photos I like and you will do nothing of the sort.
  19. I was a hanger on that dive, and yes, Stephen left just as we got "hung" so I didn't really pay it any attention. More to the fun point were the raft dives and the large BirdMan flocks we threw down. Chuck
  20. What part of "no bullshitting in the specified forums" do you guys not undertand? Keep the BS to Talk Back. Chuck
  21. Both of you can STFU because I don't do anything to please anyone else other than myself. It ain't about you, it's all about me. It's a work in progress. This is my "captain morgan" phase, so get off me.
  22. I don't know, Seth. I will get off my ass and go check in a minute.....
