  1. Hey, no hijacking the thread, ya freakin idjuts! This is AMERICAN IDOL talk. I simply don't give a rat's ass who wins now that Chris is gone. I voted for Taylor last night, but in the end I don't care which one of the three wins. It's my opinion that none of the remaining three will ever have a successful, radio-play career. Taylor may have some success as a Joe Cocker-type singer, but what little management/promotion they all get will just see them on top 40 stations, no matter what type of music they make. I was flipping through the channels the other day and actually heard a Bo Bice song on the radio. It was a pretty good rock song, yet it was on a bullshit Q-98 station, played right after a fucking Shakira song. Ugh! Those guys are doomed in their initial contract. Another thing: Simon Cowell's company is NOT the one that gives the contract. It's the other Simon, the creator of the show and HIS company (19). Chuck
  2. I have a coat that looks identical to that except for the color and I have not worn it in 15 years. I think my wife gave me shit about it one time when she saw it in my closet. Personally, I like it. Chuck
  3. Very few people on here come across the same way in person. I have met a TON of you, so I can quantify that statement. Chuck
  4. While this involves a wind tunnel, it would probably be more appropriate in Events and Gatherings, right?
  5. Agreed. Hans Bergren and that team were doing very technical stuff in original Skyflyers at least five years ago (and on video). Still, Omar is definitely taking it to a new level with some of his moves.
  6. Very nice pics, James. That looks like a fantastic place to jump! Beautiful
  7. .....and you can't stop fixating on Harry Parker's ass.

  10. That's what I meant. All those places are the same to me.
  11. in twenty jumps I would let him jump at 1.3 at this dropzone. Chuck
  12. And that sentence right there sums up your problem in my opinion. I never pull down on rears. I tug outward, as do the great majority of people I know who use rears in their landing sequence. Also, as has already been stated, digging on rears is not smart. If you have to dig, you had better just bail to toggles. Chuck
  13. That's awesome. I went over 25 years jumping in January and you're right; time does fly. Great pics by the way. Chuck
  14. All I have to say is G.U.M.P.

  16. Carving for dummies: -get down on the deck carrying a lot of speed -pull left string vigorously -pull other string down level with left string for a while -pull right string very vigorously while letting up a bit on left string -stop and bow to crowd
  17. I just about spit up on my keyboard, Grant!
  18. You totally beat me to it, Grant. Ian is such a pretty boy, isn't he? Not quite as pretty as Dan (GQ jumper) though. You guys slay me! Oh, that is a good pic of Ian carving by the way. Ciao, Chuckie
  19. There is no possible way that you are 48, Arvel! Man, I thought I was getting old!
  20. That's amazing. Very interesting story.
  21. OK, what's the report on this weekend? Pipe up, fools! Give us the poop. Chuck
  22. About 1/3 of my skydives are tandems, 1/3 are AFF, and the other 1/3 are wingsuit jumps. I only very-rarely do other-than-wingsuit fun jumps anymore.
