I think it goes by the manf. While I don't agree that it can only be done by D license holders with 500 jumps I don't think 38 jumps is close to meeting the proficiency needed. You will be adding unnecessary risk to an already complicated jump. Your friends will have a great skydive without you being in freefall with them. I don't disagree for the sake of arguing. I just didn't see that as the main point that you were trying to get across when I first read what you wrote. I agree, communication es muy importante.

Have you asked them to jump with you, and if you get turned down have you asked them why? I was fortunate enough to have some very experinced people who were willing to jump with me since I started. At the same time I didn't want to waste their time and money so I invested a good deal of my own money in tunnel time. I don't mind jumping with unexperinced jumpers, after all I am still unexperinced myself. I don't have any expectations when I do. I don't expect some one with 30 jumps to do everything right, I never did. On the flip side I am less keen on jumping with people with 150+ jumps who have a propensity to fuck up dives but they are unwilling to invest in some coaching or tunnel time. If becoming a belly flyer is one of your main goals then consider investing in the skill. Don't waste money on full altitude solos. You will get much better returns on your investment if you use it for quality coaching (you mentioned this yourself) and tunnel time. Interesting, I only had my pilot 168 spin up on me one time in the 150 or so jumps I put on it. I was loading it a little more at the time then you are now. I had the canopy all packed and ready to go but one of my "buddies" wanted to show me how to "psycho pack" . Soon after I was the lucky recipient of my first line twists in over 100 jumps. The canopy nosed down for 1.5 rotations with me on my back and then flew straight. This jump was from a 182 from 3k, I can't think of an aircraft that is easier to exit stable and square from! For all my other pack jobs I left the nose alone (pulled it out a little actually), quartered the slider more away from the nose, and put a few rolls on the tail. I single stowed the locking bites, and double stowed the rest with a health amount of line between the last stow and the risers. I have my viso in a protector, it is sitting next to a altitrack on my arm. They get almost identical readings. The only problem I have had with the unit is that the back of the case was cracked. I bought it from some one on here who never used it. My guess is that it was cracked when he recieved it or before he shipped it to me because the shipping materials arived in perfect shape. I still have to take the time to email L&B and see if they can help me. The unit does look pretty flimsy compared to my altitrack but I am happy with it otherwise!
