    I don't think that is true. If it was a copy of the optima it would have all of the optima features, my understanding was they added additional ones, such as a time based alarm for four way. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

    In my opinion you are better off taking the progression at the dz that you are more likely to call home, then one at some far off dz just to save some cash. You will build better relationships with the staff, you will become a part of the dz easier, and you won't be some tourist who shows up with a bunch of bad habits from some other dz.     Perfectly legal by the letter of the law. However it doesn't comply with the agreement of their merchant account, which is why most big chains don't pull that kind of crap. I have put together Aerodyne slinks a handful of times... shhh don't tell the FAA. If you need a post on dropzone.com to correctly assemble a set of slinks then you have no business any where near the assembly of a set.     The part where there is a pecking order with between a 15 year old teen and a 12 year old boy. If it was my kid, and I have none, I would kick his parents ass just to restablish the "pecking order" and to punish them for raising such a lousy little shit for a kid, because that is a load a crap.     Something to consider Gary, maybe new jumpers don't want to feel like there is nothing new under the sun. What is so wrong with them thinking that they are creating some sort of a legacy... leaving a mark like you said. How many old timers would still be so passionate about the sport if they weren't pioneers, and instead were just people doing something that had been done long before they came along?     I have never done a hop and pop from a climbing 99, but I have a lot of them out of 182's and 206's with no problems. It sounds like something that can been done safely if the jumpers exit correctly. Am I wrong with this assumption? "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
