Cold weather jumping and Saranex suits

Overkill in my opinion. I jump all winter long with no problems. All you need is a good base layer or two like they use in mountaneering and any jumpsuit. Plus all of the outdoors stores now have all of their thermals on sale since winter is coming to a close... is there an off season for chemical suits? In this case I think the USPA is sandbagging, or underestimating the experience level needed. If a tandem gets hurt what do you think is going to be used in the lawsuit. The USPA recommendations, or the manufacturers recommendations that the jumper didn't meet. When the manufacturers recommendations and ratings are done away with then I will agree with you. I finally got a chance to jump out of a DC-3 at Eloy's holiday boogie this year. I have to say it is my favorite jump ship to date. If I ever hit on that powerball one of them would be a part of my dream dz fleet for sure.
