I allways thought shooting video was cheap until I added stills to the show. I guess I was just spoiled by a killer price on a used pc350, and good deal on the helmet for it. I think it is time to try to insure my helmet setup with all the stuff I have bolted on there now. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

I'll call him on my way home wrong work and will bust his chops about that. They still don't have demo tri's on the road though.

Gear owners are biased. Hard to admit that you paid a bunch of money for a hunk of shit. As a new jumper you need to learn about gear from your rigger and your instructors. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

More toys to buy. I think I have room on my helmet for some more crap. Any flash recommendations Dave? "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

Any thoughts or experinces? I never had still taken OF me while on a night jump, so it is kind of hard to think about taken them BY me on a night jump. Does the flash blind the subjects you are shooting? Is it possible to get decent shots with the onboard flash of a normal digi SLR? What sort of manual settings would you be aiming for to make the best of the conditions? "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

I have allways had great customer experinces with Aerodyne. It is unfortunate, but your email probably just fell through the cracks; but your experince is definetly not the norm. I love flying their gear, the price is right, and they have allways done right by me, even on second hand gear. Les and Cookie with the demo tour normally have all of the canopies for demos; I know that they don't have any triathlons with them or I would have called them directly for you. Give Sandy in the office a call. I am sure if they have demo triathalons at the office she will be glad to set you up with one.

Thanks for that MEL. I allways wondered why some of my sign offs on my PDC said AIR, and some said IR.

Good. They will deserve it for being in bed with the slimey fuckers. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

Definetly butter the floor. http://youtube.com/watch?v=gsB2BgO38BQ "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

Fawked if I know Beer, but don't forget to butter the floor and then set the fire alarm or something off one morning. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

75.00 a steal considering the view, and the chance to fly with Burner. Burner on the spot: "If you don't pull you will land right where I want you too". Burner on the prison: "See that down there with the fence? Land in there and you will get a years worth of hard sex" "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

He has easier, less important things to do. Like busting speeders to get more money for the department, harassing teenagers, and arresting people who have small amounts of pot that weren't even under the influence when stopped. You don't actually expect him to protect or serve do you? That shit takes effort. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

I thought the PD Slinks, Aerodyne Slinks, and others specifically specified if they were TSO'd for use with reserve canopies. They might have just used the word "approved". "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

Batavia Boogie Act XIX July 2nd-8th 2008 Batavia NY

Here are some of the pictures I took @ the event. http://terminalstills.smugmug.com/gallery/5356730_KnaMc/1/327806694_6tuqP#327827997_rZB7K Thanks to every one from Frontier for great weekend. Blue skies Joe Schickler. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P -
Did you have words with this jumper? If I am shooting video a make it ultra clear that I get the center. They will track at the bottom of the dive, at the altitude we agree on. I think it would have been pretty hard to avoid freaking out on this jumper long enough for him or her to understand how fucking dangerous of a bonehead move that was. Did you properly discuss with them before the jump? "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

I will fully admit to being a grumpy bastard today. I should be at a boogie right now, but I got stuck at work instead. That doesn't change the fact that I think you are shit stirring. Your original post is rather transparent. You have read the manuals, so you know how you can cause a cypres fire in a descending airplane with a tandem still on board. I would also bet you a few beers that you read the post that was recently made about a tandem cypres that had fired on the way down after a tandem decided not to jump. Suprise suprise, it fired because the pilot and the tandem instructor failed to read and or remember what was in the manual. We can agree to disagree about your motivations for this post. Regardless, if we cross paths the first round of beers is on me. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

What does all this vigil drivel have to do with your original question? I thought you were asking about the Cypres model, not bringing up more of this brand bullshit. What is the point of your original question? You obviously have a very long resume, and as a rigger have packed numerous rigs that contained various cypres models, including the tandem model. Riggers read manuals. I will conclude that you have read the Tandem Cypres manual before. Hell I have and I am not a rigger, and not a TI. You are going to have us believe that you have no idea what conditions would cause a Tandem Cypres to fire, and that you actually had a purpose for this thread that wasn't simply more Vigil/Cypres shit slinging? You knew why a properly operating Tandem model Cypres would fire in a decending plane. Stop wasting peoples time on here. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

I like dogs at the dz. Well well trained and behaved dogs can roam around for all I care. There is one at our dz who is off leash all day. She listens very well, plays fetch, stays away from canopies. The only thing I can't stand is a dog that barks continously. Kona would be more than welcome @ CPI Keri. Sure no problem. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P -
It is for the dogs. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

Sorry, another silly reason. When your toggles are in your hands you can hook your hands around your MLW, your legs straps, your hip rings if you have an articulated harness. It isn't tiring at all, you get use of your toggles to play with other jumps as you go, and you will go further than leaving the brakes stowed. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

No, they don't use Gelvanor, which is often times called South African ZP. I don't think the fabric mill makes the stuff any more, so any new canopies made out of it is being made from old stock. At least to the best of my knowledge. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

Better to be pissed off than pissed on... unless of course your wife is into that. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
