Has any one had problems with their CF card or Canon 20 D? Im using a Sandisk Extreme III 2 gb. This is the 3rd or 4th time this have happened over the last month. I format the card after every weekend with my camera. In the past I formatted it with my computer but it seemed to leave a lot more mb left on there than if I did it with the camera. Got any ideas what might be causing it and how to fix it? Thats what you think! Short hair makes you look younger. I had long hair 11 years ago, just before i started skydiving. So glad I did. What a pain in the ass it was. Besides if you have to "look" younger you are too old to have long hair. Unless long hair it is part of you heritage, then that's ok. When I lived in South Fla, we saw an Otter landing on Lake Okeechobee. Our pilot radioed and got him to take us on a ride. (didn't get to jump it) It is owned by Wayne Hyzinga (sp). Owner of the Dolphins and Waste Management. They used it to fly to his private island in the Bahamas. (rough life) The pilot said it cost $750,000 to install the floats. and that was '00. Beautiful plane inside and out. Painted in Dolphins colors, -34's, white leather interior. Very enjoyable but short trip, we prob flew around for 30 min. It is much easier to learn from someone fluent in ASL then trying to learn from a book. I learned in high school from a teammate. Over the years I have not kept in practice and don't remember much. I am sure there are a few skydivers out there that know and are willing to teach. Jen Key (Sugargliderz) had a degree in sign and used it quite regularly at SDChicago. A few months ago this guy was yapping about how he was a jumper and he's done this and that in skydiving, Did this many jumps etc. So I am just listening and going along and trying to be excited about it. I didn't bring up that I jump or have jumped, he brought this up bragging to his buddy and me. ( it's funny what alcohol will do to people) I am just trying to contain my self until the other bartender comes up and hears the conversation and says that I have a few thousand jumps. Laslo, PharmerPhil, Velocityphoto, Changolanzo, What fill flash are you using? I have a 20D with a Canon 10-22 lens and have been thinking about adding a flash. What would you recommend? I think you are missing his point. "We" being skydivers who continue to turn a cheek to skydivers when they do shit the is just wrong and we do nothing to stop it. It looks like Chris has draw his "line", now it's time for the rest of us to do the same. I've said for a long time that too many skydivers think that it is their god given right to take a toke then go on an AFF jump, tandem or a training jump with a low jump student! That is bad for business and that is bad for the sport. Do what you want on your own time, but don't let it interfere with good judgment. And why can't they be more discreet???
