    Multi-tasking...

The idea of multi-tasking is bunk. If I have a load of laundry in the machine, supper on the stove, and am playing on the computer, I am not multi-tasking. I had to dedicate time to each task in order to get the process started. A person who has a smoothly operating company, while he is at a business lunch is not multi- tasking. Listening to someone else talk while you are eating is just everyday procedure. The statistics about cell phone usage while driving is a good example of the fallacy of multi-tasking.

    Islamic War?

If you are talking about a face to face war with the religion of Islam, where the enemy donns a uniform, probably not. To armour up without the help of another industrialized nation would take a complete change in their everyday mindset. That is an affront to them.
  3. Aren't you the one who is always complaining about never getting a leg up, and having to work for "da man." Education doesn't make you a leader. A lot of people go to school because they believe that it will entitle them to more money for less work. Learning something from the ground up makes you a far better leader than someone who just read a book.

Especially, the real thing. Much better than that fluffy stuff that they sell in the store.

    I owe ...

I made my first helo jump that same day. I just wish that it wasn't so expensive so that I could have done a second one, in order to analyse it. It was definately different.

    What are your split times?
  7. Reply To -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- UH huh, right, I forgot about having that MF hit the lights and start swearing/sceaming at 4am. I forgot about having to get dressed and piss and be dressed downstairs in 4 minutes.... litterally. I forgot all that fucking fun.... sorry Charlie, me no forget. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So, which part of the fun really pissed you off? I simply remember it as an experience in life, that every naive, coddled teenager should experience. They did in nine short[ or, long] weeks, what life at its natural pace would take years, if ever, to do. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Whining, and complaining about something that happened to you years ago in the course of life is an indication that you resented the experience.
  8. Quote -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From this, I think it is clear you never went to basic either. Or maybe you just forgot what it was like. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So, which part of the fun really pissed you off? 9. >The whole thing is self regulating on commercial end. That's literally true. Once a species gets hunted below replenishment levels, it goes extinct, it cannot be sold any more, and the market adjusts itself to compensate. Bit of a stretch on the first two, wouldn't you say? Anything with the word dodo in its name is probably too stupid to live, anyway. Pigeons were hunted for sport, and also for crop control.
  10. The whole thing is self regulating on commercial end. I was shopping at Sam's yesterday. Two lobster tails were $35. Pork loin was $1.80 lb. Guess which one went into my cart. If a commercial fisherman has to spend three times as much in fuel and labor to catch his product, he has to pass it on to the consumer, or go broke. Unless you just have money to throw away, there's a price that you will not pay for something. There are also some creatures, such as shrimp, which have a short life cycle, and would simply die and go to waste. As for the ability of a species to recover, think about the alligator. I know it is still on the endangered list, but being at the top of its food chain, it has practically become a nuisance.
  11. Pretty much. Think of all of the products that are made with animal hides. Boots, shoes, belts, leather skirts, whips, on and on.

    social hierachy

That's why socialism and communism doesn't really work. There's always someone who wants to be the b ig dog, and thinks that they should get more for doing less.
  13. Is that why dems push for voting rights for illegal aliens and convicted felons?
  14. He must be really busy, what with being on the campaign trail for his fellow republicans.
  15. I would prefer someone with an overnight bag, and not a steamer trunk, myself.
  16. Yea, we'll buy that bs. Got some real numbers?
  17. I jumped out of my first PAC 750 two weeks ago. I don't know about soul, but it definately has plenty of attitude.
  18. I want you to warsh the winder right next to the chimley.
  19. He's obviously a natural clown, he just needs to go to comedian school to work on his punch lines, timing, and delivery.
  20. I've had three good 5 mile runs this week, all at about an 8 min. pace.
  21. If I was their stratagist, I'd have them denounce the statement publicly, and permanently put him on a back burner.
