Amen, and Amen!!

We only see it as an imbalance because it disturbs the flow of things as we think they should be. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- At first, I was going to be sarcastic but, the fact is that most of the famine in Africa is caused by the supposed top of all species. One group murdering another over some belief or grudge. Here is a continent that is rich in natural resources and fertile land, and yet, all of these years of evolution later, they can't make it work. Nature handles its business, man doesn't, which tells me that there's more involved here than evolutionary process.

What a dull, boring world it would be for us humans if we all agreed.

>We, as humans, are the only species who have the ability to use >complex thought processes in order to continually make our lives >easier. We are also the only ones who have the ability to destroy the >environment that is needed to sustain life. I guess it all depends on your point of view. Rabbits, mussels, and rats probably think that they have it pretty good until the food supply runs out, and then, nature, as it was designed to function, will take care of itself. We only see it as an imbalance because it disturbs the flow of things as we think they should be. I'm sure the dingo has no problem with it.

Now that's a streeetch!

Are you hairyjuan in disguise?

Gee, thanks Prof, I thought that I was doing pretty good. Once a species advances to the next level, the less effecient model, by logic, will become extinct. Had we evloved from apes, they would have simply disappeared as an outdated part of the process. Within their own environment, they continue to function as they have for eons. By the way, cockroaches must have hit their stride right out of the blocks.

Do you really believe that Karl Marx, Lenin, Stalin, Mao Tse Tung, and Kim Jung Il had a better plan with the religion of humanism. Every one of them except Marx have set themselves up as gods. That's where socialism eventually ends up.

Next time you're at a zoo, look at the otters, manatees, hippos, seals and sea lions there. You'll see flippers in all forms, from basic hands (otters) to flippers that are almost exclusively for water propulsion (manatees.) Evolution prepares organisms for all manner of niches. QuoteOnce they've found their niche they tend to stay there. How is it that with the millions, or billions of years for a species to advance its progression up the evolutionary ladder that, the world over, a species is the basically the same in one spot as it is 1,000 miles away. Let's take a look at the higher primates since these are considered to be our closest relatives in the animal kingdom. Remember now, that we've had billions of years for progression. We should be able to find some starting to develop a written language, some, a spoken language that involves more than grunts and screams. Some should be developing complex weapons to protect them from the attack of a leopard or a lion. Their homes should consist of more than a bunch of branches piled up in the crotch of a tree. We, as humans, are the only species who have the ability to use complex thought processes in order to continually make our lives easier. We are also the only ones who have the ability to destroy the environment that is needed to sustain life. I dare say that we are also the only species that is capable of complex but useless emotions such as contempt or hate, which points to the fact that we are far and away, more complex beings than the rest of, for lack of a better word, creation.

Because it's not a fish, but a mammal??

The reason that it is not considered is because it doesn't fit the desired results of their agenda, which, as a large part, is to discredit all religion as a vital part of the human phyche. Just because something cannot be understood or physically observed doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. We can't even figure out how the thought processes of the human brain function. We can't see them, or touch them, yet we do not deny their existance, as fleeting as they are.

It's called using the absurd to point out the absurd. Actually, I do understand, but change is so miniscule that it can't be measured or observed. Once again, everything has its seed within itself[think DNA ]. A blue whale has never had legs and walked on the land. A seal, on the other hand, has the best of both worlds, but it's flippers have always be flippers.

For some reason this doesn't seem to be a two way street.

You take someone in the position of authority[ college professor], put them in front of a bunch of ignorant students, then throw a bunch of big numbers at them, and they take it for fact. The problem is that ten different authorities have ten different sets of numbers, but noone seems to be bothered by this fact. Example: We just heard about something 1 billion years old coming back to life. Sam Champion of ABC news is in Iceland today. He just talked about organisisms being frozen in the ice for 25,000 yrs. I'm so impressed with the authority with which he delivered that number, that I just can't help but believe him! Isn't it ironic that "scientists" can question everything and are considered" cutting edge", but if we question them, we are considered to be blindly ignorant.

Oganizations are called that for a reason. You can't join fraternal organizations and then play by your own rules in their playground. Everyone who lives in this country should be taught, and made to understand the value and cost of freedom. Dentigrating it may be a person's right, but it doesn't speak well of their rearing. Eventually, thumbing your nose at the freedoms that allow you to do so, will come back and bite you in the ass.

Then there's the assholes in the right lane who have room to move to the left. Instead, they close the gap on you to prevent you from getting in, thus slowing you down and jamming everyone.

>And you can prove this beyond all doubt, how? Yea, but can you prove that it's a billion years old. My main beef.

Beechnut, Redman. You only get lip or gum cancer. Just don't spit your juice on my extension cords, or all hell will break loose.

Remember"The Dirty Dozen." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Should I have used an icon, or don't you recognize tongue in cheek humor?

At least, we're not all serious here in SC. I love it.Maybe it should be changed to BSC.
-
And you can prove this beyond all doubt, how?

My first reserve ride at a dz 2,500' above my standard elevation, and air temp was 105 degrees. They don't call it ass phalt for nothing.

The possibility of life creating itself has about the same chance as iron ore, under its own power, becoming a locomotive.
