Then you won't want to come to Palatka, Fl. to jump. There's a skeet range on the other side of the airport. Sometimes, I wonder if they don't look up, see us under canopy, and say,"Hmmm."

I'd cry too, if I had to work 80hrs. week in and week out just to do someone a favor. It's a BS show. People running over top of each other like ants just to build a house. Give me a break.

Hate and revenge is so ingrained in these people that even if you gave them all of the tools to live a peaceful, productive life, they would still find cause to kill someone who doesn't think exactly like them. Obviously, Mohammed didn't read Jesus' message about forgiveness.

I didn't have time to watch the whole thing, but that's govt. intervention for you. They've always got a better plan. Remember, it takes a village of idiots to raise a child.

Sorry about your uncle. Maybe you are an Even Steven. [Sienfeld episode.]

Killing dozens of women and children in a market just to make a statement is justice? Someone needs to rethink their religion.

Damn rich people always trying to hire someone to do some work so that they won't have to beg.

>It might be happening. I don't see it as a problem. Depending on your age, it may very well never be a problem for you. >It is changing habitat, not destroying it. Ibelieve the biggest cause of the problem is not the overproduction of CO2, but the deforestation of large portions of the planet. I see it everyday in housing developments. Many older neighborhoods were built with large trees left undisturbed. City services were still installed. No more. We bulldoze a section of land that contained thousands of trees just for the convenience of putting in streets, services, and cookie cutter homes. Rather disgusting, in my view. No real effort is made to reforest these areas. Home owners are lazy and don't want the task of raking leaves. I would dare say that certain HOA do not allow certain trees to be planted back into a neighborhood simply because they are messy in the fall. Sycamores come to mind. Here in the South, some people literally despise pine trees because of the needles, cones, and sap, so they have them cut down. Paying the govt. carbon credits to plant trees elsewhere is BS. Cypress trees don't grow on a sandhill.

Are you one of my old high school teachers?

The same thing that someone who decides to get a govt. grant to study the secret sex life of the mud fish. They want to get paid for doing as little as possible. At the end of the day, if there is not an actual product that improves the situation, such as a perpetual motion machine, the people are just putting the money in their pockets.

It might be happening. I don't see it as a problem. It is changing habitat, not destroying it. It's been doing it for thousands, or according to you guys, millions of years. I heard that the Vikings gave Greenland that name for a reason.

Yesterday, on the way home from the dz, I stopped at the grocery store for the obligitory 8 pack of fried chicken and a couple of other items. As I pulled into the parking lot, a couple were across from me getting off of a Harley. The woman looked good and was obviously proud of her newly aquired assets. I picked up my items and headed for checkout. The man was in front of me with a couple of small items. The woman was on the other side of the counter. She picked up a 12 pack of Coke and a couple of other items. He looked at her and said,"We're on the bike." She blushed and smiled. He looked at me with a smirk that said,"Yea, she's a real blonde." I almost said,"She could probably carry it home on her new rack."

Wait a minute! I thought that forcing a democratic way of life down someone's throat was evil. You can't have it both ways. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You said that it was our fault, whoever that is, that a working model of democracy wasn't in place and that's why the blacks failed at taking over the white farms. When we attempt to give people the hope of a capitalistic, democratic system, all we hear is that we are imperialists. Should we give those who are trodden down by tyrants and butchers the hope of something better, or not?

Or, since the polar bear is the largest land based predator, it could just wait until some other predator makes a kill, and take it away from them. The options are endless, but then, they might start looking like a hyena.

Where's that great faith in the evolutionary process to adapt to environmental changes? Why the wringing of hands? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The main argument is about the effect of GW on the poor, pitiful polar bear. The polar bear has the ability to live a large portion of its life in the water. It also has the ability to traverse solid land. It hunts from the ice because it is convienent. I'm sure that it could kill just as many seals or walruses from a rocky shoreline. Hunger is a real motivating force for changing behavior. Somehow, I don't think that GW is going to stop the earth from tipping on its axis, which is the main cause of winter in the temperate zones. The ice is only going to retreat so far, no matter how much humans screw up the environment. The only ice that can cause the ocean to rise is that which is on solid ground. The Artic ocean is like ice cubes in a glass. It never overflows. The whole alarmist "The sky is falling" mentality is BS.

Reply To -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What happened to all of those functioning, productive farms that were taken away from white farmers and given to the blacks. They went to shit. Whose fault was that? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wait a minute! I thought that forcing a democratic way of life down someone's throat was evil. You can't have it both ways.

I am sorry to say that the Governor of the Great Lakes States bites. Since 2001 the state has lost over 300,000 jobs. I guess with can also blame it on that NAFTA, but still compaines are still leaving the state and moving to other states or Mexico. Maybe we should move to Mexico or/and learn Spanish. Here I am out of work for the past nine months, sending out tons of resumes and not a single deal. Then I try to go on assistance and no. You make too much money from nothing. Then go to the Local Wal-mart and see alot of these illeagals getting the assistance and all. So I am thinking about a moving out of the state where I can find a job. Now that the governor is on her 2nd term I can only expect to see more cuts and of course more jobs to move out. Now shes in Germany hoping to bring in some jobs to the state, when she needs to be thinking about the companies that are here. Yeah, lets raise the taxes. Lets raise the sin taxes; I see no issue here. But when and where will it stop..When its true the automotive industry is hurting, it just shows that these companies give and give to the unions and then all these recalls. Why is that possible? recalls after recalls when our foreign compution (Toyota, Honda) are making a better car, cheaper with very small recall ratios. I guess the writing is on the way for the so called Big Three. Shape up or shipper out to nothing. Our nation as a whole has become a welfare state where we are helping every Abduallah, Shako, etc... with aid but we cant even take care of our veterans past and present. Sorry just venting off some stuff that has been bugging me... No need to reply if you dont want to as these are just my thoughts on the articles as seen through what I have experienced or gone through. Thanks, You ought to PM Lucky. He has the answer.

Slightly off topic, but the people who piss me off are the ones who don't have enough money in bank, are pretty sure that they don't, but just have to check anyway.

There are certain roads that you will have to take to view the sights, but in between, if you have the time, secondary roads will set you free, especially with a convertable.

And if you really want to make it exciting, keep your gas tank only 1/4 full.

I ran the River Run, 15k, in Jacksonville, Fl. Finished #825 in 1:10:55. That's a 7:35 mile. That's 4:30 faster than last year. I'll get a seed in next year's race.

Most chainsaws have a trigger holddown that runs the engine at high speed for starting. They could have left it on and just laid their arms on the chain. I'd bet they weren't lumberjacks.
