The original 12 step program designed by AA is for those who have come to the reality that they are powerless over their addiction, therefore they must look to some source of strength greater than themselves to deal with the problem. The problem with secular thinking is that what much of what religious thinking considers wrongdoing is simply considered shades of gray by the secular world. If you think that stealing a few dollars from your mother's purse in order to support your habit is no big deal, then you can't face the fact that your habit is harming innocent people around you.

Why not. He's one of the few who doesn't believe that a love fest is the answer to the problem. You've got to ask yourself where you would rather fight this war against islamofacism. Here or there? Don't forget that those left wing, freedom haters want a world where borders mean nothing. With that in mind, what does it matter where we try to eliminate the insanity. As I said earlier, you are an enigma wrapped in a contradiction.

I bought a used rig. Had I purchased new, it definitely would have been as large as the main.

Glad to know you landed safely and recovered your gear! Since my main is 30 sq.ft. larger my biggest suggestion is to practise the flare as many times as possible before landing, because you are flying faster than with the main.

until I grabbed the cutaway with both hands, I couldn't budge it. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I practise it 4 or 5 times per jump. Maybe I need to actually peel the handle for real just to be sure that I am doing it right. BTW, at Palatka they actually teach the double handed method.

Jump #74 I caused about ten line twists at 2,000 ft. It wrapped up in a hard spiral.

When I opened, lines from the left risers were connected to the right lines. The slider was stopped about 3 ft. above the risers. I look up, see the mess and then there are about five seconds of level flight before it starts to spin to the left. My normal EPs have been one hand on each handle. My right hand was being forced back into my chest, and until I grabbed the cutaway with both hands, I couldn't budge it. Upon reflection, I have always packed with about 3 ft. of loose line laid in the packing tray. I believe that I wound up with a tension knot. On the up side, I landed 10 ft. from the peas and today was the day for my reserve repack. Also, everything fell in the airport, so there was no loss. What an April Fool's joke.

Packing myself a spinning mal. I guess too much loose line in the packing tray is a bad thing. The best I can tell is that is was a tension knot. The irony is that today was the day for my reserve repack.

She should have had the poor guy come over in his UPS van and do the deed there. When the husband caught them amongst all of the boxes, she could say that she was helping the UPS man look for a special package.

I think its totally in control. Imagine if... So you're saying that the UK put two boats full of underarmed sailors into Iranian waters as a fishing expedition with no intention of being able to cover them from a larger boat? That makes sense to me!
