The poor fellow would have given up the goods if the robber had approached him with a rubber knife, and then called it a near death experience. Shouldn't everything that kills large numbers of people be attacked with the same fervor? Drivers don't kill people. SUVs do.

    I spent ten months in Raiford for doing a job. I had to put fire escapes on both ends of the hospital and turn an open ward into lockdown cells. My boss seldom came to see me.

    So, let's look at the logic of this. The doctor says that having a live baby by natural methods will kill the mother, so the doc turns the baby around inside the womb, delivers it feet first, and before its head comes out, he drives a probe into the base of the brain, and sucks them out. How did that save the mother's life?

    A little devil's advocate here. If you chose to rob a convenience store, would you rather do it in a state where gun is a bad word or where you look around and wonder how many honest citizens are packing heat? BTW, I don't own a firearm. I just don't look like someone that you would want to attempt to rob in the mall parking lot. I leave that privilege to innocent young girls who wear rose colored glasses.
