What you should never say to a Police Officer.

You forgot # 13. "I didn't do it" Oh my god that is sooo funny. #14. "He did it, take him to jail" Oh that is such a good one also. Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467 -
Got to be the guest of honor on a Life Flight Medevac today
SWATcop replied to SWATcop's topic in The Bonfire
Yeah, you're right. I wil wait till I get the ok from the Doc to jump again. To make matters worse, my rigger Kristen at SSC just finished putting together my new Vector III. I started my vacation three days early with the plan to get three days of skydiving on the new rig before going to the Keys next week. What shitty timing. Got to be the guest of honor on a Life Flight Medevac today

Actually it was Firestar. I got injured at SWAT training today and was the guest of honor on a life flight to ORMC (neck injury). It wasn't as bad as they thought (no broken neck) but I am going to be grounded for a while :-( What a way to start my vacation. Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467 -
Yeah, I spent 7 years in the Airborne Infantry. Usually it was just a muddy hole in the ground with a poncho hootch over it. Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467

I would suggest Kissimmee Florida. Great weather, jump year round, lots of flat open land for sale around here. Oh, um its where I live also. Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467

wing loadings for jumpers with 50-100 jumps
SWATcop replied to teason's topic in Safety and Training
Smaller is not always better. I have an exit weight of around 210. I have 30 jumps on a zero P fully elliptical 170 with no problems landing it at all. I upsized to a Sabre2 210 and love it. -
You beat me to the reply button. Yes you're right, I have seen some over priced leather goods. Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467

I am not trying to dig on you at all but all of the concealment holsters by DH are $40.00 or less and they are quality. I have used UM myself in the past, I have even carried concealed with no holster at all. If you happen to get in a physical confrontation before needing a firearm, you may find your weapon laying on the ground where and when you don't want it to be. This is just my .02 Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467

I have been a cop for 11 years and u/c for 4 years. Uncle Mike's are crap IMO. Ankle holsters are a bad idea also. Fanny packs are great if you want to look like an off duty cop and have everyone know you are carrying a weapon. If you want a quality holster I recommend these. I have one of their IWB holsters and they are great. http://www.donhume.com/ Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467

I had a 10 year break where I was out of Skydiving I don't count that time as being in the sport. I started skydiving in 1994 just before I got out of the Army. I just got back into it in April of this year. Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467

I jumped a C-5 at Ft Bliss in June 92, daylight 1250 ft AGL, no ruck and I had door position. Pretty cool jump for an Airborne jump. Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467

Yep, been there done that. Most all of my jumps in the 82nd were 800 ft AGL at night loaded down with combat eqpt. As for skydiving my first real night jump with chemlights ect was jump 104 and 105 up at Paragators in Umatilla, FL (Apr 15, 1995) jumping a Falcon 235. I had a couple sunset loads that were way past sunset that were just about as dark as "night jumps" before that though. Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467

That's a good one. We once took a guys SWAT boots and gave them to another guys wife (Flight attendant) who took pics of the boots all over the world and we e-mailed him ransom notes with pics of the boots attached (at the Eiffel Tower ect). Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467

Oh, and along the lines of Caddy Shack. A Baby Ruth Bar floating inside the water cooler jug was done recently but some people didn't find it funny. Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467

Well, these are some of the things that have gone on in the Narcotics office. It really sucks when your car is entirely filled from the floor boards to the headliner with shreaded paper. Its also a big surprise when your whole cubicle (desk, file cabinets computer ect) is missing and has been relocated to the chief's office. There was a picture of its new location (in the Chief's Office) posted in its old location on the wall. Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467

Been there done that, I had one of those little bastards in the knee pad pocket of my football pants in high school. He hit me five times in the side of the knee before I could get my pants off. Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467

Does any one unpack and then repack rented gear?
SWATcop replied to AEsco48's topic in Gear and Rigging
It depends on if I believe them on what size canopy is in there. I rented gear once when I first got out of the Army and was a very new skydiver. They told me the main was a 235, well at opening time it turned out to be a 170. oops! I landed it with a PLF but I was not very happy when I took it back to them. Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467 -
Yeah, it was very cheap then. I think the staicline progression course was around $160.00, gear was included, jumps to 12,500 were $16.00 but the first eight jumps were from the Cessna from 3,500-8,000 AGL so they were cheaper. Free Military C-130s to skydive out of once a month was a nice plus also. Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467

I learned to Skydive at the "Green Beret Sport Parachute Club" at Bragg. The best instructors and I think including gear instruction and the cost of jumps it was about $800.00 total to get my A license in 1994. Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467
-
I go skydiving 2-3 times a month, make 2-3 jumps each time and buy my jumps 10 tickets at a time (10 for $200.00). Less than $200.00 a month.
-
I wonder if you hit the same one I towed my 67 Camaro into when I ETSed from Bragg in 1994. It was yellow right next to the pumps and had blue transfer paint on it. You might see me out at Z-hills sometime look for the guy with the 1* on the side of his Bonehead.

Yeah that was by far the best save I have ever seen. Bill Hemple is probably the best RC pilot there is. He is also a trainer who teaches the military to fly drones. Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467
