  1. Nope. Everyone on the team that is assigned to drive this or any of our vehicles has to complete an on and off road certification course. Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467
  2. Nice. Our team just got one of these, ours is the OD green one at the top. You get a lot of attention rolling through the hood in it. http://www.armoredtrucks.com/products.htm Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467
  3. There is no such thing as Karma but pissed off husbands are real. Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467
  4. I know you're a rebbel, free thinker, dislike authority. I will have to come over to Z-hills and jump with you, we can continue this over a beer. Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467
  5. Do you thing we are invisible while conducting self initaited activity in high crime areas? That means they will rob the one down the street. (you can't be parked at all of them). We do that but again you can't be every where at once. Once they see the patrol car go by they know you won't be by for a while. Shea, as if. Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467
  6. Ofcourse when little Johnny gets run over and killed by a speeder in your neighborhood or your son is killed in an auto accident where a speeding car stikes his, it will be those damn cops don't do anything but sit at the donut shop or drive around. (has this thread gotten off track of what). Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467
  7. Yeah, yeah and "don't you know there are murders out there? Why are you arresting me for X crime. Why don't you go out and catch some real criminals"? Typical cop whuffo stuff. Sorry my crystal ball was in the shop. LOL Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467
  8. Yes, self initiated activity (traffic stops) are a great way not to be a lazy cop. The option to write a ticket or not is entirely up to the officer. Traffic stops lead to drug arrests, warrant arrests, criminal traffic arrests and DUI arrests. Anyone who drives a car knows there are traffic violations all over the place. Just think how many you could make on your way to work if you were a cop. Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467
  9. There are no slow weeks for crime (not here anyway). Dope is being bought and sold every day, someone will get shot or stabbed tonight (just like every night), calls are holding right now just like they always are. Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467
  10. Well it is your job, thats what they pay you to do. If the rest of your squad turns in x number of tickets and arrests and you have none, what have you been doing out there? Guarding the Seven Eleven? If you have less tickets but more arrests fine. If you have few tickets but handled a lot of calls for service fine. If you don't have many arrests, calls for service, or tickets there is a problem. I don't know maybe they do have "Quotas" someplace but no place I have ever worked. You are pretty much measured against your peers. Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467
  11. I have been a cop for 11 years and for two different departments. One of them was a small city PD that was very traffic enforcement oriented. I never heard of a "Quota". Now they do keep stats for arrests made, tickets written, calls for service handled ect and if you have been a slacker all month and don't want to look like a lazy ass to your supervisor or peers, there may be some "catch up" at the end of the month. Never heard of a quota though. Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467
  12. I encourage people who think they are right to fight their citations in court. Cops ain't always perfect. There are some things you should consider though. You aren't hurting the cop one bit by taking it to court. The cop is going to drive his agency vehicle there, he is going to get paid extra money to be there (win, lose or draw) and in my personal experience even with an attorney very very few people win in traffic court (you might get a withhold of adjudication). The violator will have to take time off of work, if you lose you will pay the original fine plus court costs, you will burn your own gas and if you hire an attorney they aren't cheap. P.S. I haven't written a ticket in five years. Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467
  13. I went to the neurologist today. I got the ok to return to full duty and start jumping again. Going skydiving Thurs and Friday. Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467
  14. Yeah, it sucks being injured. I am still recovering from my neck injury. Kristen has my bran new Vector III assembled and ready to jump and I get hurt at work the day before my week long skydiving vacation. I am hoping to be back in the air next week. Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467
  15. Hang in there and stay safe. Thanks for your service.
  16. Sure, rub salt in my wounds why don't you. Kristen just assembled my new rig (Vector III) and I can't jump it (still suffering the neck injury). I was going to go out and pick it up but I am afraid if I do I will jump it. Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467
  17. That reminds me of a call I had around eleven years ago when I was a rookie cop in Winter Park. I responded to a call on the midnight shift of a lady that said a bullet had come through her ceiling fan. Before I arrived, I was thinking part of her ceiling fan had just come off and she had mistaken it for a bullet. When I got there, sure enough there was a .308 round laying on the carpet in the kids upstairs play room. The caller advised she had just put the kids to bed and heard a loud bang and observed the round come through the ceiling next to the fan. The round came all the way through the roof and penetrated the ceiling of a second floor room and finally stopped when it hit the carpet. I have no doubt that would have killed someone had it struck them in the head. I also believe that it would be very difficult to fire a round straight up to where it is "free falling". That round is coming down on a trajectory even if it is a very steep one its arcing over at the top not just stopping and free falling back to earth. Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467
  18. Yeah, it does kick ass doesn't it. Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467
  19. I was kind of speechless. I thought that shit went out in the 80's. Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467

  21. Yeah, but but... I can't take my hand cream, or my bottle of water sniffel sniffel. Its only a matter of time before we have to fly naked and checked baggage won't be allowed. Its the governments fault, no wait its the slackers at the check points fault. sniffel sniffel. LOL People today are so soft. I would love for some of them to come live my life for a week. Let the flames begin Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467
  22. No dude, a victory for them is when there is an oil slick and floating dead bodies. As for putting stuff in checked baggage, you can't mix the liquid ingredients or detonate them when you are in the cabin and can't get to them. Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467
  23. I haven't heard that term since I was a student at Raeford (Green Beret Sport Parachute Club). It meant we were able to jump without an instructor. Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #467
  24. Yeah, its going to suck flying for a while but good job on the Brits for catching the terrorists before they blew up several planes. Knowing personally how difficult drug interdiction is it amazes me how many terrorist incidents they head off. Great job.
