I'm glad you're at peace with that, however, they are a true danger to our national security. I may be saying that because my sister's brother-in-law as well as my cousin's brother-in-law were both killed in the 9/11/01 terrorist attacks. Both men had three children and their wives were pregnant with their 4th. I witnessed first hand the human suffering endured that day at the hand of terrorists. That's truely sad, but I believe that we are virtually free of airport terrorism. 911 was a bungled, low-scale shot. They had to know they had 1 shot at it until increased security that we now have. If theywere organized theywould have had that operation in every major city in America. Box cutters? Come on, that was such a moltov coctail type operation. So how can they attack now? Anthrax possibly. I say we build our fences and protect our ports, not sell them to an Arabic nation, as Bush wanted.

What bothers me with Obama is that he basically promises everyone who asked everything, which makes me wonder if he's going to do anything at all. Let's say he does nothing, McSame will continue the onslaught.

Capitalism does not actually "operate on greed." Greed is just an extreme degree of a desire to possess some wealth. It's like a person with a compulsive eating disorder compared with someone who eats normal amounts of food. You take a guy who owns and runs a hardware store. He is not necessarily operating based on GREED. Just a desire to do business to earn a living! Calling it unmitigated "GREED" that drives capitalism is simply wrong. It operates on competiton, greed is just the automatic byproduct.

Obama's statement was not unlike Kerry's offer to take a paternity test. He gets credit for it, but it has no real value. Ridiculous. I'm anti-abortion, but pro-choice. I think abortions indicate a gross amount of irresponsibility, other than abortions to save the mother's life. But the key is, do we legislate the right to have an abortion or legislate the prohibition of same? We know what attempting to prohibit anything ends up doing: costing us a lot of money to fail to prevent what we are trying to prevent. It looks like in cases like these, those who will do whatever is prohibited regardless of its illegal status have us kind of cornered. Agree with the 1st sentence, the 2nd? What is prohibited in this case?
