When I was in High School we had a Blood Drive. Of course I volunteer'd (to get out of class of course). Well after, my buddy tells me he has a pint of Jack Daniell's in his car. So we go out to the parking lot to take a few shot's. I get 2 down and wham! I am super drunk. Worse thing is I have to go to class. So now Im drunk in class, teacher is asking me whats wrong, I tell her bad reaction to giving blood. So now I get to go home early with a killer buzz everything worked out great. Too Late I already voted. I voted for hmmm whats his name? Oh yeah some Richard Schnachner guy! I wanted someone thats involved with skydiving and I see jump all the time to represent me. And someone that is directly involved with skydiving competition. If there was someone out there that malicious, to place you into a potentially fatal situation, then this should be looked into with great debth. Chances are this was a packing error (Hopefully). You should check everything out before you post to the world that someone tried to kill you! It wouldnt be the first time someone pulled a toggle through the excess, and had a loop knot in their steering line. I wasn't at the Dz when it happened, but I know your rig, were the line's stowed in the holder's, behind the riser's, or just hanging loose? Once again I would be careful before you start making serious accusation's of this nature. If someone did do that, it is very serious situation. This is a potential legal matter. OK, this weekend a few people at the Dz were complainning about being sick, or had just gotten over it. Im wondering how fast and far a 24 hour flu can travel across the country. Yesterday at skydive Deland. We did a Hybrid tandem skydive. I dont know if it was the first but beer was bought (I will explain after). Dzo Bob Halett and his Mom Katie (who is 83 years old) were the tandem. Mad Dog Maguire (who is still recovering, from his incedent with the power wire base jumping.) and Ditta from the girl Norgie's team, was the Belly flyers. And Jimmy T and Hunter were sit flying and Head down. I shot video and still's (Soon to be Posted). It went off flawlessly, they almost turned 2 point's. Oh yeah about the beer, Bob was also celebrating being in business 20 years so it was open Bar. To add there was about 30 lbs of pork and another whole cooked pig. Great jumps, Great party. Fun was had by all. Hope the 21'st year celebration is just as good. Ray Ray Small and fast what every girl dreams of!

Ok here is some Pro's and Con's for you to think about. The Micro Mv isn't a real friendly skydive camera from what I have seen. The record control is on the right side of the camera, instead of the back, like most of the other sony camera's. And most camera brackets, and helmet's, are made for a left mounted camera, so turning it on and pressing record will be difficult. If you wanted to top mount it, then you wouldn't have a problem. Also It doesn't have a LANC port so the CameyeII wont work with it. This might not be a problem if your only using it for fun jump's, but for 4way, and Tandems its a good idea to have an indicator light, and the cameye is the best one out there. The tapes for the MV are also real expensive. Pro: The Micro mv is a very small and lightweight camera. The Pc 101 is a very good camera. It is set up like most skydive camera's used today. So helmet's and bracket's will match up nicely. I suggest you look at the camera's first personally. Check out your options. Good luck Ray Ray Small and fast what every girl dreams of!

I know the First person to jump a Birdman suit, Base was a guy from Norway. His name is Dag, and he is the cameraman for the Deland norgie's. He did it off of the Locals tower in Deland Florida. I agree with your theory, in a way. Florida definitely is a magnet for homeless people. But I have been to places like New York and Chicago and there wasnt a small amount there either. But Florida is definitely a lot better place to sleep outside. There has been a large amount of serial killer's in Florida, but I dont think this is attributed to homeless people. Ted Bundy, one of Florida's most notorious killer's was a well respected member of his comunity. I did agree with the 80/10 rule, the crime rate in florida has decreased signifigantly in the past years, since they started keeping the criminals behind bars longer. The 10-20-life rule is working aparently. And yes Florida has a sad history of Drug smuggling, Heck most of the Dropzone's in Florida got their start by flying their plane's all night, and jumper's all day. (That is a different story). But that has changed a lot. Contrary to my previous reply we do have a nicer, safer place to live and visit. There still is work to be done though, a boat with 100 people managed to pull right up to our shore's from Haiti, just the other day. That could easily have been a boat full of Drug's, Nerve gas, or Terrorist's with Nuke's. But once again thats another story. Ray Ray Small and fast what every girl dreams of!

In Florida, we discovered that if you keep them locked up, that doesn't happen. 80% crime caused by 10% of the criminals. The habituals not only continue in crime, but involve others. Keep them out of circulation for a while, thing got quieter. What part of Florida do you live at?
