Id love to see how the magnets all over the rig affect the aad? And if the manufacturers tested this before they released the system? I wonder if there was any misfire on a rig with magnetic flap systems would the aad manufacturer be quick to blame the magnets. I personally would like to see all the aad manufacturers work with the rig manufacturers and safely test this system before it was sold to the public. There is another problem, and mainly since several companies are making breakaway rings. You have to know that moving from one brand to an other the ring sizes are not exactly the same and mainly the big and the medium one. This meant you cannot be sure by switching from one system to another made by different manufacturers that the cutaway system will work properly. Nothing look like another 3 rings system except the one made for your rig, which is made to be the one. Plus, does any third party observe the tests? I mean, the company could drop the rig 100 times, it would work only 10 times, and note these 10 times in the book, as "it worked 10 times out of 10!". How is this prevented...? I believe in France it is the government that does the tests, not the manufacturer. It is not the government, it is the manufacturer, but: We have to provide a video of all testings, ground and launchings. At least one person from NAA will come to see at least, high speed drops and cutaways. They can ask either to be there for any of the testings.
