a) upon hearing how much a friend paid for thier new: car, tv, computer ect.: start calculating how many jumps that amount of $ would buy. b) check thier handles and altimeter as thier commercial flight takes off. then feel weird about landing with the plane. and doing a small hop out the door out of habit. c) get invited to a dinner party and ask what time it starts. not to be prompt, but to figure out how much DZ time you'll have before hand. diamonds are a dawgs best friend

i'll have my A, and be renting in about a month. my DZ charges $25 a jump or $50 for the day. so i'll be doing the day rental and getting in at least 3 jumps to make it worth it economically. plus 1 jump just isn't enough anymore. best of luck on your AFF. diamonds are a dawgs best friend
