  5. the suffix -ing will most likely be gone in a few years. i don't know if lack of education, the language we are exposed to in music and television, or plain laziness is to blame. it is probably a mix of all three. diamonds are a dawgs best friend

  8. being as you're in CA. and with the # of DZs there you should be able to find something you can buy in person pretty easily. get with your local rigger and instructors and tell them you're looking for your 1st rig. and ask them to put the word out to riggers and instructors they know in the area. offer them a case of beer or a finders fee. best of luck on find your 1st rig diamonds are a dawgs best friend

  18. i think it's that whole yin/yang- balance of the universe thing. just as there are positive people, there are negative people. and thier attitudes reflect it. when i come arcoss negative people i try to keep my dealing with them as short as possible. diamonds are a dawgs best friend

  24. i think having 150-200 jumps before FF is better. because you'll have more experience at safely breaking off and tracking away, also you'll have a better awareness for levels, proximities, and stopping and starting movment toward docks. true that in FF things happen faster. but i feel that the skills i mentioned and learned in the 200+ jumps i did on my belly have helped make me a safer jumper/ freeflier. diamonds are a dawgs best friend
  25. i took it last fall and highly recommend it. basically: we would have a classroom session, then go do some hop & pops to work on what he had taught us, then he would de-brief our landing videos and we'd discuss the up high canopy flight exercises we'd just worked on too. then we'd repeat the process adding new things. it's definatley meant for anyone wanting to learn how to be a better/ safer canopy pilot. and to me it was well worth it. diamonds are a dawgs best friend
