    did my 1st jump on my 35th birthday. been on jumps where i was the oldest and been on jumps where i was the youngest. you'll soon find at the DZ there are people from all walks of life united by the love of jumping. because in freefall it dosen't matter how old you are it matters how much fun you have!! best of luck with AFF diamonds are a dawgs best friend

    check out the collegiate 2-way VFS dive pool. all the randoms are sit fly docks and the you can trade between who lays base and who does the 360 in the blocks. diamonds are a dawgs best friend

    get out of debt. invest most of the rest. set up an account so i can make some descent money off the interest. i would splurge on a new rig and a vacation in arizona with lots of coach jumps and tunnel time so i can learn to freefly with the big boys. diamonds are a dawgs best friend

    take your rig. don't know about the DZ you are going to, but at my DZ the rental gear is also the student gear and students get priority. so there have been times a fun jumper renting has to sit out a few loads while student uses the rig they are renting. with your rig with you you'll be sure to make all the loads you want to flex the mad skills you leaned in the tunnel. diamonds are a dawgs best friend

    i recently heard a couple of newer jumpers discussing a RW jump one of them had been on with some seasoned jumpers. and they mentioned being worried the other jumpers would tell them they messed up thier jump because they turned the wrong way for a point. does this ever happen or was it the jumper's performance anxiety? diamonds are a dawgs best friend

    what leads to horrible economic times is lack of financial responsability. when no one (from the government all the way down to the average joe) can live on a budget and spends borrowed money as if everything is okay as they increase thier spending, then eventually the house of cards falls and you have horrible economic times. diamonds are a dawgs best friend

    demo them if possible. back in feb. i demoed a spectre and a storm within a month of each other. i would have gone with a storm but had some financial issues come up. i found the storm to have a flatter glide and more zippy in turns. diamonds are a dawgs best friend

    i'm a fan of linking knees, dropping off the (otter) door and putting your hands out for stability- horny gorilla style. that way when you're off the hill, stable and ready to break apart you're already on the same level and know exactly where the other person is in case of corking or other seperation issues. diamonds are a dawgs best friend

    my exit weight's 165. for my 1st. rig i went with used gear with a 170 main. as for it being kind of floaty i worked with instructors and more experienced jumpers on adjusting my pattern depending on the winds to land on the DZ. demo some canopies if you can, especially if you're buying new for your 1st rig. diamonds are a dawgs best friend
