BTW...I would participate, but my goals are a little different since they revolve around rock climbing. Something like double the body fat of hooknswoop, and able to do every route that he does only prettier. I can't afford to have friends like you guys!!! Jules tempted me into an extra ten minutes before league last night. I justified it as good exercise. Twist my arm just a little, I can stop buying food, too, and that will help with the contest.

    Yeah, what she said!! To me it's not about beating others, it's about having fun while getting healthy. I wish I could have taken my pic a few weeks ago, as I've lost 8 pounds since Christmas simply from having stomach problems. But the important thing is that they're off, and I'm not gonna back track!!! Woo hoo girls~guys, too, 'cause we're all really winners if we stick to this thing.

    Hey, wait a minute. I don't know about the others, but I'm not looking for validation as to whether or not I'm in shape. I'm doing it this way so that I have the motivation to keep going rather than fail so publicly. It keeps me accountable to myself. If it works, it's more than worth it to me to post bikini clad pics.

    Well, thanks, girls, but I guess we all are our own worst critics. I definately wouldn't be seen in person in my bikini, and as I said, the camera doesn't show all. What's important is that we all come out of this feeling like we improved ourselves.

    [reply My understanding is that we're all competing against our "before" shots...are we not? I've not gotten my Feb Parachutist yet, and won't until a couple weeks in... I'm still trying to figure out a way to get "date proof" in my before pic... Actually, I think what Kenz did was brilliant, and we're all a bunch of dorks for not figuring it out as well. Just hold up a piece of paper with today's date handwritten on it.
