    Only if he asks me to. Seriously, though, I believe you don't dish out anything you're not willing to receive in kind. I learned a loooong time ago ( was 19) that a guy can hit a LOT harder than I can, and that's without really trying. I say we keep our hands to ourselves, unless invited to do otherwise.

    There's less than a month left, but I'm not seeing very much posting/encouragement going on. In an attempt to rectify this situation, I'm starting the cheerleading bandwagon going again. Come on people, it's the homestretch!! Even if you've been slacking, there's time to pour it on in time for summer!! As incentive, I'm going to be the first brave soul to post an updated picture of myself so you can judge for yourselves whether or not I've made any progress.....

    Not commenting on the rest because I agree there, but speaking to the arms crossed thing...I do it - not 'cause I'm not approachable or don't want to be talked to - but because I'm frickin' freezing most of the time. So...if you see me doing that, make the assumption that I'm cold. EXACTLY. But now that I know that's the reason men aren't tripping over themselves to get to me, I'll try and stick my hands in my pockets or something.

    Michele, I'm sure with a night's sleep behind you things are feeling less desperate. At least I hope so! Some of the comments your prof made remind me of my daughter's Algebra teacher. He recently gave a quiz which only 1/3 of the class even passed. His comment to the class was, "What does that say about most of you in this class?" Some people have trouble seeing their own inadequacies, so they react with hostility or patronize their students. If you're putting that much effort into it and still struggling, the problem obviously lies with the instruction. Don't let his inadequacy make you doubt yourself!!

    How did you come up with that term to describe the ummmm....? That's NOT what I am describing!! It's a bar through the top portion of my ear...two piercings actually. Thus the difficulty in sleeping on that side, putting the phone up to that side, etc.

    Order of pain: Nose piercing-brought tears to my friend's eyes Industrial piercing- Damn!! Hot fire for a bit, and a pain in the ass to try and sleep on for a long time. Belly button piercing- actual piercing, not so bad. All the clothing that has to be worn over it, and any time you stretch or strain physically, ouch ouch ouch. More prone to infections than any of the others.

    Impulsive? Attention seeking? nah. I got my first (and as of now, only) tattoo about a year ago. I had wanted one for years. I got it on my foot because I got it for me, and I wanted to be able to see it easily. For me there's no point in tatts on parts of my body I can't see. As for the argument about how they'll look in our old age. Who cares? I deal with elderly people every day. Tattoos or no, no one's skin remains unblemished, firm, and unwrinkled. Gravity will have its way, regardless. I'd rather experience life now to the fullest extent than worry about trying to preserve my looks for when I'm in the nursing home.

    Wow!! If that is the case, then I seriously undertipped for my tandems. From what I've read in the instructor's forum, I don't believe any dollar amount is expected. Many (if not most?) TI's do it in order to pass on the love of the sky. Any amount of tip is generally appreciated, as I understand it. Am I off base here?
