I think when people say, "You'll regret that one day" they really mean, "I'd regret that one day." It's difficult for some to realize that just because someone has a different opinion doesn't make that opinion wrong. Thank god we all have different tastes!! (I think I'm a french vanilla with a chocolate syrup twist).

Hey it was probably 18 inches long and I know nothing about snakes. I didn't want to get bitten before I got my patient treated! I did look for it afterwards, to try and get closer, but it had stopped sunning itself and left. Or it went after the bunny I saw hopping around the side yard....

The funny thing is, that wasn't even the thing I saw today that scared me. That was in Aurora, in a very old neighborhood. Forget the bloods and the crips, the new gang color is a white t-shirt.

Well, I can think of times when all the communication in the world wasn't going to make it happen. Some guys have a hard time (pun intended) accepting the fact that it's just not going to happen, so there have been the odd occasions when it's been necessary to fake it just to satisfy him. Does that make sense? I think that might qualify as TMI.

Funny, I still do live here, and I keep seeming to miss the part of the newscasts where they say, "High today in Denver, 53. Highlands Ranch 56. Boulder, 85 and sunny." I call BS. And I never said I wanted to stay away from Boulder. I said it's a city like many others. Some people love it, others hate it, some people say the people who live there smoke pot and don't take showers.

So the bear dies because this family was irresponsible about storing their food. And irresponsible about teaching their child to respect wildlife. And now the father has "bragging rights"? He should be teaching his son that because of their irresponsibility, a bear (doing what bears do in their own environment) had to be killed. Man interfered with nature and now nature pays the price. Yeah, I'd be really proud if I were him.

Caress, I am not trying to attack you at all, but if someone refused to put up with all the stuff you worked through, that would hardly make them f**ked up. I know that's not what you're saying, but your post got me to thinking. Is his wife f'd up because she won't put up with a bunch of bullshit? I don't think the choices are a)doormat or b)fucked up. Again, not directed at you. I applaud you for making it work, as that has obviously been the right choice for you. But I think some men need to get it out of their heads that if a woman refuses to be walked on, that makes her a bitch and f'd up. Of course, still none of us know what prompted the OP to make that comment. So we're all just guessing circumstances, and he's probably laughing his arse off.

Well, I'll be getting either a Magellan or a Garmin. The Magellan is a couple of hundred dollars cheaper than the Garmin; both models that I'm looking at got good reviews on a couple of different sites. I'll probably go with the Magellan just because I don't need all the bells and whistles that come with the Garmin. The cost of it is tax deductible becuase I'm purchasing it to use in my job. (And of course, that's ALL I will ever use it for, I promise, Uncle Sam) Guess I won't be buying any tunnel time this month either though.
