I should be able to remember this because it wasn't that long ago. The first post I can remember making was to ask Icon to marry me. And to pose with no shirt on. He keeps refusing me on both counts. Since then, I've made quite a few friends; one or two that I would consider good friends. They know who they are. -

Believe me, she will appreciate you supporting her in this. And the more you learn about the sport, the better you will feel because you'll know what things she needs to be doing to reduce her chances of making a fatal error. Be the person she can rave to about her excitement and enthusiasm. Be her cheering section. And know everything you can so that you can talk intelligently with her about her options. Even if you don't jump, you can make it a sort of partnership that can bring you closer. Good luck to both of you. Your heart's in the right place; she's a lucky woman. -

True, though I can't even fathom not wanting to immediately do it again. I was at a dropzone and several tandems came in. It was surprising to me that everyone's first response wasn't, "That's the best thing I've ever done!!! I want more!!!" However, there are always those that get one taste and immediately want more. Those people might take that first jump sooner if it were being offered for free.

yay! I was just thinking about you today (because of the lovely snow we got last night) and wondering how your move had gone. I'm glad you're doing so well! The people I work with made me smile today, a lot. Just like they do every day.

Everyone is saying that you look much younger in the current photo, which is true. But I think it has more to do with the weight loss. I think your hair is quite beautiful short or long, so wear it however you like. As for those saying it'll grow back.....I cut mine about as short as yours two years ago. I've been growing it out since, and it won't go past my chin. I miss having the choice to have long hair!! Squeak is right though about the shorter cut highlighting your blue eyes. Bottom line, you're over 40 and you're HOT girl!! Look at you rock that hair
