Or you could pick up the phone and call...perhaps maintain some real life human contact. Seriously...I don't even remember the last time you called me. You probably don't even remember who I am! Well, considering nearly all of my myspace friends live in another state or country, it's a much more economic way of keeping in touch. Besides, then I don't have to listen to them, I just get to do the talking. And umm, of course I remember who you are, but you never call me either!!

I think I'll surrender my girl card this year and try your method. My sister in law just came back from CompUSA~opened today at 9pm with laptops for 299. I told her to get there early. She got there at 8, when they opened the doors, there were 1000 people in the store. No thanks. I'll pay full price before I wind up on the nightly news in a story of how I got trampled.

As far as I'm concerned, this is someone else's holiday that I am forced to partake in for the sake of family peace. It's meaningless~it's a day off from work and a day to eat lots and lots of food. What's the point of it all? I don't get it at all, and I'd be just as happy skipping it. We should try and show our gratitude every day, not just one day a year.

yeah, I know. On radio, I do just fine. On my own, not so much. It's been a huge struggle for me. The skydiving part, I'm doing ok. But I'm having a hard time enjoying that part for worrying about the ground stuff. I WILL get there. It makes me mad to be so bad at it!!!

I'm not in much pain at all. A couple of people at work yesterday smacked me on the hip and that was painful. Otherwise, it's all good. Just a sore back, and I can live with that.

Well, I do bruise easily because of meds that I'm on, but I have to admit, I had my share of hard landings over the past 14 days. I GOTTA get better so I can keep on playing in the sky!!

The funny thing is, I had a picture of myself in a bikini on there for quite some time, and they never saw fit to delete it. More of me showed in that pic.... And I agree, who is worrying about my bruised legs while half the kids on there are bordering on soft porn with their pics?

Okay, I really should be getting ready for my guests that are arriving in a couple of hours, but I'm pissed off!!! I posted pics on myspace of my trip to Eloy. I posted a coupld of pics of the bruises I acquired due to my awesome landing skills. When I went back to show my husband, one of the pics had been deleted!!! When I tried to repost, it told me that the subject was either pornographic or unsuitable for some other reason. Hah!! I have to laugh, considering all the crap that is allowed on there. One of my daughter's "friends" recently posted a public message calling me the C word. Nothing was done to delete that!!! I know, I'm going to hear from people who say, that's what you get for being on MySpace. But it's a fun way to keep in touch and network with new and old friends. Anyway, I'm attaching the two photos. The one with the full legs showing is the one that was unsuitable for myspace. What do you think? Pornographic???

So she's trailer trash because she's trying to follow up on claims her dead husband made prior to passing away? There's no reason to be an ass. If you have nothing constructive to contribute, why don't you just show some class and and say nothing?

Wow. I hope you're not implying that if I had integrity and moral courage I would confront my family members more. Sometimes you have to decide whether or not you're really going to accomplish anything by calling these people out. If their lies are hurting someone, of course you need to stand up for the truth. If they are just attention-seeking, you are giving them what they want by responding.

To reply to the question of the post~yes. My mother and my oldest sister constantly "embellish". Growing up, my accomplishments were never good enough to stand on their own, my mom always had to add extra crap that didn't really happen. I used to challenge her on her lies, but found that we were constantly in a state of high drama if I did so. Now I see them rarely, and I try and smile and nod a lot. I've found that distance is the best remedy.

Ok, I am officially changing my stance on not being afraid of spiders. And my policy of allowing them to live when inside my home. That's scary.

Vallerina, what did your jumpsuit and rig look like? Did you ever see a frightened middle-aged blond in a student's jumpsuit on any of the loads with you? That would be me.
