    Byron is closed Monday and Tuesdays. The Cessna 206 usually runs on Wed. - Fri. The King Air is always flying on the weekends.. sometimes on Fridays. Rental gear is $30 / jump.

    You are not kidding.. Plaything and I have found soem reliable sources of sushi grade fish here in the San Francisco area.. but in Orlando, we still have to go to a restaurant if we want sushi.. Actually, we tend to eat more sashimi than sushi.. Sashimi is just the fish, sliced into app. 1" x 2" x 1/4" pieces.. Serve with rice, wasabi, soy sauce and pickled ginger..     Yeah.. it's weird. The equipment is all good. The handle is between 2 pieces of webbing.. I don't peel except as necessary. And yeah.. Lany is pretty hot.. I'm lucky in that respect.. chopchop gotta go... Plaything needs a spanking.. Lotsa Pictures

    Ummm.. yeah... the first time we figured it happened on the ground and the handle got replaced.. a fluke. The second time we figured it was either my wing or the edge of the door on climbout.. The third time, I actually saw my wing wrapped around my handle. Not sure if it was dislodged on climbout allowing the wing to wrap it or not but there it was.. Anyway.. I have ordered soft loops for my cutaway handles and have changed my transitions to keep my wings out and away from my handles.. I am also very careful of the edge of the door on climbout.. And yes.. there is good velcro on my handles.. the wings are not huge.. it has happened on both rigs, and each rig had around 100 jumps at the time. chopchop gotta go... Plaything needs a spanking..     I absolutely jump with low-timers.. This weekend I did 3 AFF jumps.. and a handful of tandem vids.. OK,Ok.. I got paid for those.. but I also saw a guy with 26 jumps getting ready to do a solo and he said after that he was going to pay for a coach jump to do his "A" license check dive.. So.. I went and paid for my slot, and surprised him by asking if I could jump with him and we did his check dive and turned a few points after that..

Far wiser to reinforce your sense of touch by watching your fingers wrap around handles.     Here are a few from this year.. still camera mal on climbout videoing a 14way.. video camera on night shot videoing a 16way.. one wing unclipped videoing a tandem.. and the supergrandaddy of them all.. cutaway handle getting pulled by dooredge on climbout or camera wing on transition! (happened 3 times - twice resulting in cutaways) all 3 on tandem videos.. BTW-- when your main loaded over 1.9:1 is attached by one riser only, it spins pretty good.. chopchop gotta go...     :11:0 Saturday was awesome... 5 fun jumps, 2 AFFs and a tandem video. Sunday was 2 tandem vids and an AFF. Saturday evening was great.. Landed from sunset load and the big screen already had skydiving footage going.. and i had recruited soem of the jumpers not on load 22 to start grilling up all the food we brought. It was a beautiful celebration! And.. Geno, Ballsack and champu got pied.. and Fire Brian got caked! chopchop gotta go... Plaything needs a spanking.. Lotsa Pictures
