last year - 2001 - brand new Safire lost in the corn of Quincy. Hey Lisa, on the 10-way before that jump a guy had a cutaway from a similar situation. The slider grommet actually made like a knot out of the brake line. Nice job, Linda, of spelling it out. Make a simple dive plan, put the less experienced jumpers in the base, make a few attempts, adjust, do it again until we get it right or run out of daylight... For me, it would be sassy showing me those tapes of her 4-way stuff adn some freefly videos. Once I got into it a little though, it was the camaraderie at the dz,s as well as the personal satisfaction of new accomplishment as my skills improved. Both of those still drive me. AND the fact that nothing is more relaxing than leaving the plane.
