i don't know how tight security is in malls there now, but judging from a few terror attacks we've experienced here lately, in many cases the suicide bomber was spotted by the security guard at the gate , but (and this is the problem with suicide terrorists) as soon as he (or she) are spotted , the explode. several security guards were killed or wounded (while saving many others) like that lately... Dormant cells. besides, the orange alert is (sadly) nothing more than "aspirin for the masses" the real terror is not the destruction on 9-11, its the constant state of fear that these things can, may and do happen. this is something the orange alert (important in itself, if backed up by real messures) can't solve. then again, it might be living in an "orange alert" all my life that makes me say that O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."

you speak in big words that have little grasp in reality. sure, the ACTIVE terrorists are a minority and only they should (and mostly are) be targetted. but so was the ba'ath party in Iraq, and so is the Ba'ath party in syria and even the king of jordan is a minority (but a good one ) the problem is that minority (Arafat included), setting the tone around here. and to say "get along" and "don't let them stop the effort for peace" is good as words, not as actions when busses explode. P.S i refuse to accept the lowlife that killed Rabin as "one of my own", to me, he is as bad (if not worse) as any other terrorist. O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."

not sure a photoshop trick will look like the real thing. i'm sure others with sponsered canopies will post pics but i've found something that might help you too. its white and it has a simple logo (a flag) on it... hope it helps

we usually get checked by a JM before we get on the plane. students (and people jumping student gear) get another check on the way up. visual checks don't hurt, but physical checks should be done by people who wont mess it up... O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."

which makes it more fun to prove him wrong (when he is...) and back to the iraqi issue, removing Hussein was a strategic move more than it was a tactic move. it will take time. they had months to hide their WMD, and even to smuggle lots of it to syria. and a side note on syria, yesterday's attack was by Islamic Jihad, who's HQ is in syria. this time, unlike previous times, their leaders did not go public and brag, because syria didnt allow it due to US pressure. 5 suicide bombers in 48 hours. 2-where spotted seconds before exploding and managed to kill only themselves. 1-was spotted but managed to kill a young couple 2-managed to kill at least 15 others and wound many more not counting a few others that were caught on their way in the past week. and all of this at the same day talks with the new palestinian PM had started... the minute you reach out, they try to chop your hand off. like many people have said here, and in other threads. you can prepare better with printed regulations and how you carry it, but in many cases it all comes down to one thing...luck. O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."

knowing ad-aware, i doubt its the cause but anything is possible (you should have made backups ) try removing the sound device from the control panel (system->device manager) and reboot, hopefully it will detect it and install the drivers again (either generic or from a CD). btw, it could also be a loose connector, check it before re-installing stuff. good luck O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."

i'm pretty sure the reason not to have one is not money, (not including people who are saving up for one) as i see it there are people who simply think it adds an unneeded risk of two out, as in another thing you have no control of. O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."

i think we all get that from our families AAD's are a must at my DZ and when i started out most people had one anyway. so to me its just a part of the whole rig. a few people said "i have one in case someone screws up" , but i go with Lisa, i have one in case I screw up...
