  1. really?...name something. you are HOPING that evidence is being exposed. But that in itself hardly makes any. yawn....
  2. Petreus got 2 years probation and a $100K fine. He lost his job. In that circle of society and prestige, that is hardly even a criminal act nor a criminal sentence. There are right wingers that think Hillary will be brought up on treason charges. The best you can hope for is muddying up the water enough to lose an election in a case like this. Hell, Tom Delay actually went to jail, and still ended up exonerated and making a comeback. Just shows that 'muddying up the water' goes a long way on both sides, especially when you are filthy rich.
  3. what happened to Benghazi anyway? another one that will be drudged up ad nauseum just in time for an election.
  4. there is a stronger case for war crimes charges against the Bush admin, and that will never be pursued. If you think anyone is going after someone over emails, I will bet $1000 on it. they would likely have to prove some malicious level of intent. And I doubt there was any, no would it be possible to prove that. Most of the world is not aware of the security level of their emails, nor could they adequately describe it. another witch hunt. It will have traction in the election campaign, but anything criminal is simply a dream of extreme republican fanatics. probably the same element of people that hang out with the birthers.
  5. Grand Cayman. You can shore dive Eden Rock and the Turtle farm. Great reefs on the east end of the island, but expensive boat rides, but not too deep and nice views and fish The North wall is spectacular, 6000' dropoff, but yes, 100-140' dives and spectacular, but of course more technically challenging. and you need a boat 7-mile beach, most of the dives shops arrange a night dive there, 40' but I thought it was 'meh' but lots of life on the reefs and not too deep.
  6. so sad that the three year old was not armed and able to defend himself....
  7. Your previous post is filled with your opinion and assumptions that have yet to be seen in the industry. If there were 'dangerous incidents' occurring as a result of hand-cam usage by students or by instructors, then we would be reading about those incidents all over this forums and in the national news and skydiving related publications. but we are not. It is a small industry and incidents seldom escape public scrutiny. The use of hand cams is accelerating, so we should see the number of incidents accelerating. and we are not. fact is that cameras are getting smaller and eventually the hazard will be pretty much the same as your altimeter offers. which is zip.
  8. http://fox4kc.com/2015/01/11/police-identify-suspect-charged-in-shooting-death-of-shawnee-gun-store-owner/ look, another shooting at a weapon-rabid zone....
  9. We do not have a beer light at Z-Hills, if you are done jumping, then have a beer. We sell them at Manifest and the Sunset Bar is open every day
  10. O promote abortions.....in fact i think in some cases it should be retroactive.
  11. I think a system restore point is your best option here. Run System Restore and pick a date prior to you having all the crappy issues that started all this. If you do not have such a date available, then a reinstall of windows might do the trick. Some tech guy at a local shop might have some tricks up his sleeve.
  12. I never said the cop 'did' any of those things. I am opening up a dialogue about the possibility of changing things so maybe fewer people die....and you are making assumptions about things that I said that i did not say. i am pretty clear on what I say and what I mean and i am also pretty clear about what I DO NOT mean.....again, i said I did not have all the answers. If you comprehension of what I say is limited, then that is your problem, not mine. Let me try that....."so what you are really saying is that all cops should be free to shoot black people in the head whenever they feel threatened". Not what you said, but could be the way I interpret it. so like I said, stop nitpicking and join the conversation. or don't.
  13. oh fer fucks sake....could you just nitpick a little more. puh-lease
  14. I specifically said "I do not have all the answers" But I am sure that the situation can be improved over what it is today. Bottom line, stopping cops from shooting people in the head for license violations...OR FOR DRINKING AND DRIVING sounds good to me. we can play quid pro quo all day long with anecdotal scenarios that accomplish nothing. The bottle of gin was full and looks to be unopened (yet to be determined in evidence)....but people that buy booze and then drive do in fact have bottles of booze in their car. If the bottle was half full, then the cop would have reason to suspect drinking and driving. the fact that the bottle is full should raise no more suspicion other than "This guy might have just bought a bottle of gin". The cop asks what the bottle is, and the guy 100% cooperates - that should LOWER suspicion as a result of polite and cooperative dissertation, not escalate it. That is like asking someone if they have a gun. They might have a gun, and it may very well be legal, but to say they have a gun is not an indication that they just shot someone.
  15. I am pretty sure that her attorney's made it clear what the range of possibilities are. that is usually done in the first couple meetings. Every interaction I have ever had with an attorney starts that way. How much, how long, best and worst case scenarios. And sometimes they do not know, in which case they state that as well. i expect her attorney was high enough priced to not forget that part.
  16. what makes you ill has no bearing on its validity, its legality or its morality. Or for that matter, any other aspect of it. Just because you have a weak stomach does not mean that anyone is doing anything wrong, nor should your illness dictate public policy in any way. Some people cannot stand the sight of a nice plate of liver and onions. So just like those people, perhaps your tactic should just be to 'not look' and leave it at that.
  17. arguably the cop did not/should not have the right 'to get the guy out of the car' for something as simple as a license plate violation. Escalating a non-violent situation unnecessarily over what was clearly an administrative detail. Bottom line is that no one ever deserves to be shot for not having a license plate, or not having a drivers license. Nor should they even be subject to search in my opinion. The absolute worst case, I would suggest is that the cop takes down the details of the car, the supposed name of the person and leaves it at that. If the police want to pursue verifying it or following up with a summons, then do that later on through another means of investigation. The police officer had no reason to suspect that this person is a wanted felon, was carrying illegal weapons, was a terrorist, or was about to commit a violent crime. I would advocate for changes to laws that actually DO NOT allow officers to search for things over and above what the suspected 'crime' is. Not sure how that might work, but if I pull you over for a tail light being out, I would prefer that the scope of the investigation is related to your vehicle only - not treating you as if you are 'deadly'. Now if you and your car fits the description of an armed robbery suspect that happened 3 blocks away 10 minutes ago, then I can see where there needs to be some discretion. I do not claim to have the answers, but I am sure that good rules and legislation can be written that allow people a little more freedom and keeps cops from drawing their guns in such situations. If the cop never reached into the car, then the possibility of getting dragged would not have been there. And I am glad that this guy is facing a murder charge - it is truly horrific that people's lives are brought to an end in violent confrontations with police over such bullshit. Prosecutor called it “a senseless, asinine shooting” and that is exactly what it is.
  18. if the service is not specified in the error, then the only thing I would suggest is to check the error logs, Right click on 'Computer', the 'Manage', then look at 'Event Viewer' and probably 'Windows Logs' but could be 'System' Scroll through any that are recent and flagged as errors. Big red flags and read the details. If you can identify the service, you can google that to see what it belongs to, and probably find something you can uninstall/reinstall to fix. Lots of Windows Fix-It tools out there as well on Microsoft's website if it turns out to be a Windows service. The Fix-it tools are do-all things that basically fix broken shit.
  19. sure because legal definitions are not important at all.....I mean let's just redefine the Constitution into 'normal people words' and see how that goes, allowing you to define it whatever way you want. The new mom is allowed to be excited about her upcoming birth and think of it as a positive thing and say whatever she wants about it. But you are not because it is HER choice, not yours. The expecting mom is also allowed to abort that fetus and that is also HER CHOICE, not yours. You still do not get to redefine what a fetus is.
  20. have not figured out how to (safely) put our NAS out there for the world to see and still feel safe about its access and controls. But I could look into that, it is not new but is a Buffalo rack mount so I and sure it probably has a way to access it and some protocols to use.
  21. None of your example deal with killed babies And somehow I dont think you think so either They are not killing babies. Baby has a specific legal and medical definition. you do not get to redefine it to suit your own needs. Fetus also has a specific legal and medical definition. you do not get to redefine it to suit your needs either.
  22. To kill some to save some you mean I could share your outrage if Planned Parenthood was the decision maker with regards to the abortion, but that isn't the case. Outrage? No, more like disgust Aimed at anyone who would support selling baby organs for profit Any anyone who would support such actions They are not baby organs. Baby has a specific legal and medical definition. you do not get to redefine it to suit your own needs. Fetus also has a specific legal and medical definition. you do not get to redefine it to suit your needs either.
