Peace march had it all wrong, why not potest Iraq?
Shark replied to bodypilot90's topic in The Bonfire
I agree with you here. War is terrible; terrorism is terrible. War veterans that I know from the last war are aviators, so their perspective is a little different than a ground pounder. By waiting, it may already be too late. Do we know for certain that all of Baghdad will be bombed? Likely, but not certain. Every effort is made to avoid collateral damage and this time much of the infrastructure "should" be untargeted. You need to consider other scenarios. Then again, that's another topic to be debated. War protaganist are just as irritating, but when the peace demonstrators are rioting for peace and distructing property is appalling. -
Thanks for sharing that.

Just espousing on the point you and Mills so eloquently make! It's Mill

I'll put $2 on Skybytch to win... Then to hedge my bet, I'll put $2 on Q-Dog to win. Win, win situation?!
-
Yeah, but once in awhile a good thread comes along.

Cool! Looks like keskeie went commando, too.
-
Roger, that. Stay in touch. Will try to hook you up with other skydivers depending on you locale.
-
Yeah, right... That's the cover story.

....and a Bonehead Mindwarp??!! How many jumps do you think it has on it?
-
That's US Navy Sea Lions! Jump school is next.
-
You mean active duty, right? Because there have been a lot that have responded that are former or retired.
-
Well thought out and written... Any reply?
-
Professor, Lighten up. You've made your point. Then again, we can continue until: a) Saddam bails and retires to Libya, b) His buddies take him out, c) Our troops are recalled, d) War starts, then your point becomes moot, e) Sangiro runs out of disc space. We can continue, but don't you have a class to teach?

Dude, get video when you are interviewing said prick. Make Geraldo proud!

See?! We agree on some things!

Tuesday At 5: Chilling Video From Skies Over Washington...
Shark replied to DutchSkyCam's topic in Safety and Training
If they are trying to shut it down for "safety" reason, then it can. If the feds are involved, the USPA would probably get involved. USPA keeps skydivers skydiving. Read section 1 of your SIM. If you have one. -
Yeah! Sounds like an Iraqi lawyer. (Sorry, Lawrocket)

Offended? You were merely stating your opinion. Which I replied with more useless facts. I guess Bill Von didn't take the bait and drown us with more.

Ah, yes! Another Home Brewer!

Yes, there are other problems that are much more of a threat to western society. How about the number of firearms used to commit crimes? How about the enormus amount of drug use? Go to a high school and see how many kids are too stoned to learn anything. What about children who grow up in poverty and have no future, so they turn to crime? How many people in North America die of smoking-related illnesses every year??? What about AIDS? But ya don't see governments spending trillions to fight any of these battles... Are you directing this towards me? Or John Stuart Mill? You must have been away.... See: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=387805#387805

Do you stay logged onto dropzone.com at work? How often do you post and/or read on dropzone.com? Dropzone.com is skydiving related and most, if not a good number are on it most of the day. Just check out Who's Online.... Skydiving brought us all together, and dropzone.com keeps us all linked during times away from your home dropzone. Let's see, a minute of freefall? Very little. But my closest friends are skydivers and we speak everyday throughout the day. Then there's the time spent online here. So, a large precentage of my life is in skydiving related areas.

Oh, and you agree with him on something?!

You are fantastic debating issues, but what do you propose as a resolution? (Not in the UN sense.) There is a problem, and the opponents are first to bitch about it, but rarely come up with viable solutions. Or is the problem, the problem itself?
