...did I mention that I am a pilot, too in addition to being an AFF-I???
-
Excellent! And in a strange coincidence, I met this hot blonde at Perris yesterday and her Infinity was manufactured the same time as mine. At least one Shark was active at Perris.
-
Yeah, right. You have to get past my team first. Click to see highlights from last year's event.

You know my choice!
-
and I'll be there for that stadium jump.

Well, I'm jobless (during the week) and you just got fired. So nobody is working.
-
...and then theres the annual Chicks Rock boogie at Elsinore. Here's some pics from the 2002 boogie.
-
Wouldn't that be Linkin Park?? J/K BTW, think you girls can make a tour stop here in el 'snore??
-
yep, I know... Mustwrap has been bugging me to do it, but I don't feel confident enough to wrap with the bigdogs. I'd feel like shit if I were to blow up one of the diamonds. I might, however, do some mini-ways with the stragglers.

Reflex R350 -main canopy size question...
Shark replied to VanillaSkyGirl's topic in Gear and Rigging
I don't think Grasshopper will complain much. -
Laurel, Congratulations! Heck, docking 5th is no easy task either. Your CCR/CCS is next. I have a novice camp scheduled on the 21st, but it looks like interest is waning. BTW, what kind of canopy were you using? It looks like my Spectre.

I think it's possibly more about currency and experience rather than jump numbers. Equipment and times have changed. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the jump number requirements have not changed since USPA's inception. Yes, I have a D license, but I had over 300 when I actually met all the requirements. At 200 I was skydiving pretty well, but not good enough to consider myself a "Master" skydiver. It also got me that a lot jumpers cooked their log books on the accuracy skills. Whatever. At 500 I felt that I had reached and earned that status. Now at ~700 I believe the jump number requirements are going in the right direction. One area that may create some controversy is the requirements for the AFF ratings. I haven't heard how they will change, but currently the candidates need 6 hours of FF and a D license. Anyone hear or know differently? Shark D-24499 AFF-I

You mean like reality tv?? Real World or Road Rules?
-
Try Ground Zero at Elsinore. I saw several in Navy blue not too long ago.

Aren't you feeling a fever coming on? Ya know, monkeypox is spreading...
-
Do they have a boogie?
-
Who's comin' to El 'snore this Friday???
-
Well, according to Michele, you were correct the first time. I am a swettie.
-
Thanks! What's a swettie?
-
VSG, You are the new dz hottie at Elsie. And like your namesake, you have that Penelope Cruz/Cruise look. Shark

Only from dudes who surf twice a year and have AZ plates on their minivan. (Possibly from the same group who blame their AFF-Is about their instability on exit.)

Obviously I have to improve my stalking technique. I waved and you blew me off. But then again I was half dressed trying to make a 5 minute call.
