So my new flitesuit came from the man in brown today. I dutifully tore open the package and put the sucker on. I had a mother of a time getting the booties on over my shoes. (I first put the suit on, then put my shoes on, then tried to slip the booties on over the shoes.). The back of the bootie (where your heal is) has elastic. I didn't get the zippered kind. Maybe I should have. Anyway, maybe it's b/c I have huge cloppy feet, but is there any trick to getting booties on quickly and efficiently? I miss Lee. And JP. And Chris. And...

situations like this are the reason why I am never unarmed. i'm always got something with me. while i try to stay w/i the boundaries of the law, that isn't always possible while still maintaining a level of protection that I'm comfortable with. hopefully someday soon, lawmakers will see that restricting the rights of the general public from protecting themselves is one of the biggest travesties of justice ever. very good thread. i thought the movie really went over the top w/ w/ banality but in the end had a fairly redeeming message. i was not a virgin when i married. far from it. and i deeply regret most of my "escapades." it saddled me with baggage. my wife on the other hand was a virgin when we married. and ya know, i'm forever grateful that she decided to wait for whom she would one day marry. she brought no baggage to the bedroom. just a willingness to give all of herself to her husband. and i don't have to worry about her past... does she compare me to other lovers, does she still fantasize about others, etc. i also have no worries about her straying. she is singularly devoted and i believe strongly that being a virgin when we married has a lot to do w/ all of that. of course, this isn't to say that nonvirgins can't have these things... i just think it can be more challenging.
