The good part of the muslim population, who happen NOT to kill people, think the same way of the extremists in their bunch. I actually have heard other Christians speak out against this; I was just making a hypothetical point. Unlike the news about the bombing of the clinics, those ads and voices of Christians speaking out against the clinic bombings likely did not make it abroad, which of course would help form a rather lopsided view of the situation. it is an often made argument that Islam is a peaceful religion and that those muslims taking up arms and fighting are not true mulsims. Basically the same argument you just presented for various different forms of christianity. I agree that in theory that is correct. No, they don't. Those that bomb them (an extremely small # of people) may call themselves Christian, but the fact that they are doing such a thing ipso facto disqualifies them from claiming the title of Christain. Airtwardo and I both live in Houston. It is about 5 to 6 hrs. drive time from Dallas, I think. Boinky lives in the College Station area, which is (I think) roughly an hour and a half drive from Houston going kinda sorta toward Dallas. That would really be a riot if we all got together!
