I think the Red Team/Blue Team approach would be great. But I fear it would turn into a circus show when: A) Scientists on both team were selected by the House Committee on Science and Technology. B) The Red Team was permitted to use any source (or no attributed source) of data, including hack websites like the ones often quoted here. C) The proceedings were kept secret, with the public disclosure being produced by the aforementioned House Committee. - Dan G

Bill's theory (and most everyone else's theory) is that Russia preferred Trump over Clinton and did what they could to help Trump win. The current relationship between the Trump Administration and Russia has nothing to do with what happened during the election. The theory is that both the Trump campaign and the Russians wanted Trump to win. They both worked toward that goal. They may have worked together. The mainstream theory doesn't say that Trump was a Manchurian Candidate, as you are implying. - Dan G

Sure, but both sides have to respect the other. I don't see any more close-mindedness coming out of either side. The center of both sides is usually reasonable. The fringes will never concede that the other side is right, or even that they have honest intentions. Unfortunately, the fringes are getting louder every day. Actually, GWB was an avid runner. Anyway, I suspected that Rush would pull a full 180 and I was not disappointed. As usual for him, R's can do no wrong, and if it looks like they are doing wrong it is only because D's did it first. Armed Services Committee, I think that would be unusual. And maybe you're heard about this thing called the State Department. It's part of the Executive Branch, look it up.
