Just turned twenty, 6'4" and last time i weighed myself i was 79kg but a slight onset of a beer belly (natural arch) i think im probably 81kg. Like hip hop as the source but my tastes are varied, smokin bud, partyin, and of course skydiving. Not religous (don't like organised religion and the church), but pretty open minded. I understand that but as i said so is any gathering like shopping malls, multiplexes anything where people are, so are they going to stop us gathering in large groups. Are they going to close down busy road bridges at the price of commerce to them- they haven't yet but the danger there must be greater as it would be a target that would cause much greater problems after the event. I know there trying to minimise what they have to allow to go on and watch for attacks- closing bridge day is just one less thing to worry about. But dissrupting everyday life is exactley what terror is being used for. The kamikaze skydiver was a joke as im sure you realised:) Rooftops and sunsets

But looks like hes done a runner, back on the glass pipe, so if you catch him open a bottle of bud (not light he gos psychotic over light beer- light beer it ain't @&***% beer) and drop him in it- hell be okay for about5-9 hours so reseal and send it to me.... beer to me (watch the sparkly thing)... beer to me. don't worry i lost myself about nine years ago.

JEEZE! Its about personal safety aswell as others safety (lucky there were no collisions as you couldn't tell where everyone was), fun is fun but not when you intefere like that. I don't think anyone would have had a second thought if you had kicked the shit out of her, i would have. And shes a goddamn instructor, hope i don't ever get someone doing that shit to me, DZO needs to be told (don't make it a personal but remeber shes responsible for students lives). Anyway hope don't sound preechy (bear in mind ive only jumped twice) but thats just my reaction. Do what your comfortable with (and if you end up stringing the B****H up then nevermind)

I can understand that after 9/11 people are feeling vunerable and scared of more attacks, and i can kinda understand that a big event like that, high profile could be a target but so could anything (shopping mall, multiplexes, offices) in normal everyday life. I also can't see how a BASE jumper can inflict incredble damage by turning themselves into a suicidal meteor. Anyway i agree BS basicly, maybe just a convienient excuse, but what gets me is that people do what they want (freedom of speech and all that) so banning an event which allows jumpers to jump safely under the observation of many degrees experienced jumpers. Also what a great event to do your first base jump- for exactley the reason that reason. Hey i can't deny that the illegal aspect isn't a extra buzz factor (im not saying its the factor but when you do something you like and the law decides its against it, then still doing it is a tremendous FY) and i like the underground but it'll just go further and they done the oppossite to anything they were trying to acheive. Hey i was reading about El cap (yosemitie- damn i shoulda stayed a wake in english) in the 1980's when BASE was taking off. I read this article about a three month peiod of legal jumping untill the NPS and USPA had it withdrawn (one of the reasons were not deaths from BASE so much as the littering and drivers wrapping their cars round trees because of the distraction- cause and effect?). Anyway it was banned making illegal daybreak jumps essential, the banning was meant to make it safe for all. Instead jumpers died, one of which made a landing but because (who would?) he didn't want $2000 fine and rig confiscated, tried to run, swimming a river in the chase and drowning. Others had legal action against them by the USPA (who had no jurrisdiction)- mind you this time the jumpers won by sueing the USPA. Now ive heard that Bridge day 2001 was cancelled (ive been hiding in the cupboard under the stairs) by the NPS (one jumper suspects that there is more to it than just cancelling this year). Anyway have any of you have any interesting NPS stories, even police stories (jumping from man made structures). Just kinda pisses me off, especially when this is all done in the idea of safety but gets people killed- why coz i just have this feeling that, i dunno, we actually like this and gonna keep jumping:) Rooftops and sunsets Peace

Hey were all skydivers, students or people that just have a love for the sport, a forum is for everyone and anyone, words are just words, so don't jump on the censorship bandwagon, we can say what ever we want thats the whole point about disscusion, talking, communicating. Hey, wats up everyone, ok been away for a while, wondering whats been going on. I went on holiday to rodes with my family- hot, sunny beaches and awersome drinks (plus bargain ciggarettes at a quarter of the price here). Nice place, got to do a slingshot (reverse bungy) plus the best ride (apart from jumping) that ive been on. You lay in a sleeping bag between two 150 foot towers with another bloke next to you. Next your hooked up to a winch and winched up to the top of a third tower behind you. Next pull a rip cord and drop (a little freefall) into an awersome 170KPH, 3.2 G swing. Grin, yes, stupid smile more like, so good i went again straight away (plus a free t-shirt, can't complain hey). So if anyone goes to falaraki, rodes ask where the skysurfing is near the beach- well worth twenty quid (plus the more of you the faster you go) Anyway came back, feeling good go back to work (saving up for aff) and the following night, after post holiday blues hitting a little, get this nice little call from the head chef telling me i was fired in a polite way (wish the fucker had said to my face as grabbed his balls squeezzing while filleting him like a calf cut down in his prime). A little anger as now i have to wait even longer to get started with my aff plus the conceited little fuckwits playing games with my outstanding pay- £300 goes a long way when youve just been made unemployed. Sod it, never bowed not gonna start now. So from good to bad and back again, lifes little rollercoaster, coz i go out with my mates bump into this fine girl i had been out with before, get talking and a week later still talking- always a good sign. So now it looks like things, atleats in sexlife, is on track. Now im on a bit more of a high than i had been a day earlier, when i decide to go out again with my mates to a club (night no 2) only two of us make it to 3 the rest where either lucky or went home tired. Next night get a phone call from my mate who had made it through the previous night with me, do i want to go to the club again with his Dad, yeah cool why not (night no 3) get to the club get in for free thanks to his dad whos on the guest list, then my mate and i get introduced to security, middlemen and the boss. Now he can get in free (free drinks fridays) (so can i when im with him) and never have to worry about violent drunken thug wanabes- tight. I have no idea what his dads relationship with gansta owner is, im not ever gonna ask. So yeah im back, further away from jumping than i wanted to be, looks like i got an intelligent fine girl, no job, on guest lists and just turned 20 last week. Had a very weird two weeks. Still smoking, Rooftops and sunsets-peace Ps. The only thing about this girl is she has the same name as my sister- what is the chances of that. What d'ya think??
