Grrrr.....all this talking about beer is making me thirsty....15 mins of work left....is it really drinking and driving if I'm completely stopped in traffic? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Hmmm....I think you girls are missing the obvious. A girl should never be blown off by a guy in this sport. First, start with the general male population...not the brightest of the bunch, especially when it comes to females. They want sex. Women (despite what the other thread says) also want sex....men haven't caught on to that yet. Once they do, we might be in trouble. Till then, you are surrounded by mostly men every weekend who think that they have no chance of getting some....how is it even possible to get blown off by a guy???? I've had it numerous times, and it always tastes like maple syrup to me. It definitely ranks up there with the beers I'll only drink if they're handed to me for free. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

That's it! Everyone keeps talking about their fancy shmancy beers far far away. You're relatively close to Chicago....so start yourself off with a hometown brew: Old Style!!!! Mmmmm....tasty! Don't drink Guiness! It's way too sweet and tastes like maple syrup mixed with coffee. I think you tried Killian's....but you don't like that one, right? Well, at least no one's making you mad at work by stealing your coffee or forgetting where the deleted e-mails go. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

For starters, I recommend free beer. I didn't really start enjoying beer till I had Bud Light from a keg free all summer long....every night except for Thurs. I once disliked the taste of beer as well But, the one beer I always enjoyed was Corona with a lime. I'll even buy you a lime bomber! (I'm just wanting to see one in person!) I have moved on to "actual" beers now. There goes my paycheck There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Bo and Paula: I met them a little over 2 years ago when I had about 40 jumps at a Labor day Boogie where Bo was organizing. I ended up having a canopy wrap there in front of my brother (watching me for the first time), sister-in-law, parents (who had pulled up just in time to see it!) Everyone there was wonderful about talking to me about it, helping me find my stuff, etc. Bo and Paula went above and beyond, however. Since then, they continue to do nice things for me like house me occassionally, feed me, get me drunk. Also, they honestly are "there for me" if I ever have a question, need something, or just wanna hang out. Plus, it's fun to make fun of others with them! They are my heroes! I am jealous! That sounds like so much fun. I don't like having only a certain amount of vacation time. I wanna go somewhere fun! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

It might be fun to live with your cousin and all, but I say move in with your mom (so that I'm not the only loser here still living with the parents.) An extra $240 a month can help you out so much down the road if you invest/save and all that good stuff. Yeah, you might think you're too young to start worrying about that junk now, but my roommate started investing and stuff when she was 16 and was able to buy a house right outta college without taking out a huge loan. And, she already has a 401K set up. She is much smarter than me! I'm in a similar situation...either live downtown Chicago and have fun, or be annoyed for about 5 hours a day by my parents. Hey, Matt! It was good meetin' ya, even though we didn't get to jump together (but, I bought the rw suit, so I may as well use it!) Looks like I'll be jumping quite a bit at Hinckley next season and stuff, so if you make it back out there...I'll try to do some funny freefly jumps with you! Ha ha! I hear ya! I just got my sign on bonus, so I'm getting new stuff, too! I'm actually going to downsize...think I'm ready for it, Bytch? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

If you find out, let me know. Apparently, it's available at Walmart... I'm gonna try Phree's thing of being honest for much less money....so, Jess...you're a meanie for visiting OH when I can't go! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

This is exactly the wrong approach to any problem. You show your youth and idealism when you say crazy stuff like this. Where would this country be if everytime something was going right, people resorted to truth. Danger, Will Robinson, danger! If truth was such a good thing, would there be racks and racks (npi) of padded bras and hair dye at Walmart? NO. Wally knows what makes the world go round. And that's the truth! Well, as a newbie jumper who still has her youth, I have visions of a happy society where people tell the truth, just like they see it. I can't tell you how good it feels to slur out "You know what I think of you..." every weekend. Sure, it has caused uncomfortable situations the next day. Also, many people don't like hearing that they're "jerks", "meanies", or "the devil himself", but I find this information helplul in aiding others with their self-improvement. And, I really just want to help people. And what's hair dye? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

What would you do if you were forced to upsize by 100sq feet.
Vallerina replied to rhino's topic in The Bonfire
Hmm...if I was forced to...I'd be jumping a 315...I'd just get REALLY fat so that I could have a higher wingloading. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning -
Alcohol is evil!!! I'll tell anyone anything they wanna know when i'm drunk. But remember Val, "i'm not hitting on you." I'll even tell anyone anything they don't care to know when I'm drunk! As Clay said...I have an "out"....alcohol is not evil when it gives you such a great excuse! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

You guys have it all wrong. She needs to get drunk with him, then get honest. That way, she has an excuse for saying stuff. No need for weird confrontations unless you're fully prepared (loaded). There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

30 min drive to Chicago if I'm not going to work:7:0 I had an awesome weekend and some fun fun jumps. Trying to go headdown is a blast! The rw jumps were awesome, as well....except for the fact that everyone floated on me. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
