  1. I really like one of Mike McGowan's videoes.....I have no idea of which one, but it has the song "Rock n Roll Girls" in it. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  2. You wish! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  3. What's a brunette's mating call? Have all the blondes left? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  4. Three men came across a magical lamp. One of them rubbed it and a genie popped out. The genie said, "I will grant each of you one wish." The first man said, "I wish to be ten times smarter." POOF! He was ten times smarter. The second man thought he'd do better and said, "I wish to be 100 times smarter!" POOF! He was 100 times smarter. The third man really thought his wish through and said, "Well, I wish to be 1000 times smarter!" POOF! He was now a woman. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  5. He sure is! Even when he puts his head in his puke! That'd be fun! I could fill 'em up with sugar right before you get back
  6. Yes! I couldn't agree more! Plus, if you are the type to do things for selfish reasons, many of them are potty-trained and fixed. But, whatever you do, freebird...NEVER BUY FROM A PET STORE! My Muffin Doodle's on his last few months...and he's not always sociable to new dogs...it takes him awhile to be "friends" with them. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  7. I actually really want a puppy, too. But, what I think I'll end up doing is getting a Boxer from a rescue. I have till wait till my current Boo Boo Bunny wears himself down, since getting another dog would really tire his old bones out. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  8. Hehe! I love that one! It doesn't come out the same after having to shrink it down, but it is so cute! Haha! Actually, Ernie on tv always says "SO BIG!" and sticks his arms out like that. So, my nephew learned to do that when you say "SO BIG!" at him! Oh my gosh! I should find the picture where it looks like he's arching! it's my favorite! 9. But, I guess they're only really cool when you get to hand them back to their rightful owners! Anyways, just post-whoring a bit with some pictures that my dad took of my adorable nephew! He is spoiled rotten, and it is great! He's nearing the terrible twos....this past weekend he threw two temper tantrums (I'm so proud!) He started screaming and kicking my brother....he got tired of that so he said "Ny Ny", went to his room, and took a nap. With my mom, he got mad at her and he started knocking over all his buckets of toys! They should just do what I do...when he cries about something, give in and let him have that extra cookie (or as he says it, "Cookie cookie cookie cookie"), let him watch Elmo a few more times, and let him crawl up onto the kitchen table! I'm a great babysitter! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  10. So, there's this bar where they don't allow ropes. The first rope walked in and ordered a beer. The bartender asked "Are you a rope?" The rope said that he was. The bartender replied, "Well, I'm sorry. We don't allow ropes in here; you have to leave." The second rope walks into the bar and orders a beer. The bartender asks, "Are you a rope?" The rope said that he was. The bartender said, "Listen, you ropes can't keep coming in here. You aren't allowed in here." The third rope tied his stomach up and frizzed out the top of his head. The rope walked into the bar and ordered a beer. The bartender asked, "Are you a rope?" The rope replied, "I'm a frayed knot!" Yup...LAME! My good jokes won't carry well over the internet. 11. Okay, I thought about this some more, and (I'm not sure if it's already mentioned) the only people that I wouldn't want to hear that I did something stupid if I died would be my family. My loss would be hard enough on them without having to hear what a "dumbass" I was. Beyond that, I don't really care what people say about me after I'm gone. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  12. I don't think anyone was wanting that. If there are unique points in an incident, I think it's valid to bring them out. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  13. I agree that some of the "you dumbass" comments are uncalled for. I also agree that it takes great character to put yourself up for insults on a forum. I'm just not sure why getting insulted by people online is a big deal. If you can't even see 'em, what's it matter so much for? In reply to Jack: Funny! I said almost the same thing up above w/feelings vs safety! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  14. Even if just one person learns something from it, it's valid to post. It doesn't hurt anything by posting information regarding an incident, but it may help just one person who is willing to read through it. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  15. No, it's really not the same old story. Pilots in the sport have a better idea of canopy flight than those of us who've never done anything in a plane but sit around and eat peanuts. My guess (I could be totally off) is that a pilot in an incident may also have a better idea of what happened than someone like me who has no deep knowledge of drag, etc. Adding: Oops, I forgot to mention also....that (it seems...I could be wrong) that since pilots have a better understanding of canopy flight, they feel that they can downsize quicker...maybe this really isn't the case....or maybe they shouldn't downsize so quick. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  16. Really? I thought that safety was #1 priority in skydiving. Not feelings. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  17. Correction - one person is asking all these people to not talk about it. To my knowledge, the group of people "keeping it a secret" think it's rather stupid, but are complying with the person's wishes for various reasons. No, Andy is right. Even if it's only one person wanting to keep it quiet, the other people complying are obviously agreeing with that one person. (Unless, of course, there are legal reasons to keep things hush hush like Tom had said.) Adding in because I'm not going to keep replying: If people can see that there is a lesson to be learned, why hold back information if they feel that it doesn't hurt and could possibly help by posting? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  18. If the only reason is to protect one's oh-so-important pride, then trying to hide a story so that no one can try to learn from it is selfish. Like Tom said, if there are legal reasons which to not give full details of an incident, that is more understandable. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  19. Don't worry, Dan! I'll make sure to pour many beers on old women while you're gone! I'll take pictures and send them to you! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  20. I didn't say they were my beliefs! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  21. I agree! I know very few women who truly want commitment (I could name names.....but, not like you'd know 'em) Plus, I'm young....most of my friends are young....so, I won't know as many people ready for commitment. I guess with relationships, whatever the agreed terms are beforehand. Some people are okay with open relationships. They don't feel as though monogomy is necessary for a strong commitment to one another. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  22. Really? I always thought it was due to their fear of commitment. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  23. it took only 98 cents for my friend to get a buzz:0:0 Since I'm doing my whole "only 1 beer" thing, my friend tried to convince me to down a nice "high gravity" beer with her. One 24 oz can was only 98 cents! And, it had the alcohol content of 4 beers! (Yes, she is a poor college student.) I may try to squeeze in a jump or two this weekend...temperatures don't look too bad for the Midwest later in the week...we'll have to see what those silly clouds do! My only other excitement this weekend was that I went running.....OUCH! My quads are still really sore! I thought I had been getting "in shape." I guess not. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  24. Complete agreement here! Once again, complete agreement here. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  25. Ugh....I argue with everyone! If I care or not! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
